RothcoShemagh Tactical Desert Keffiyeh Scarf

This is a well-made product, woven pattern, and I will buy again.As scarves go, or keffiyeh or shemagh as they're called, this is a solid product. Compared to many I've gotten and seen in the Middle East or South Asia, these are fairly heavy. I would almost call it a 'winter shemagh'. I will find a lighter one for the summer months. It is either 100% cotton or close to it. Nice weave and the pattern is woven, not printed.Upon receipt, I hand-washed in cold water with a color-safe cold-water detergent and hung outside to dry. No color bleeding or running. If it had an odor, it was gone by the time I washed and dried. Been wearing this a COVID face covering and it has been totally fine.I will buy some more of these.

Feels great, has held up well so far. Using it like a scarf works well for warmth, but it can keep the sun off too. I got the chocolate brown, some of the pictures make it look sort of red, but it's just the lightning, it's a more natural brown color. per the label, it is 100% cotton and made in India. If you're looking at it for EDC survival needs, it's cotton, its the size they say, great pick up for the job.

The scarf came just as expected. A nice dark brown. Thin but durable and when doubled over is quite thick. This is one of 3 scarfs that I have bought from Rothco and I will buy again. In the picture where I'm holding the brown scarf up it looks loose but I was actually stretching it really roughly and tightly and there is no fraying or loosening of threads. Can't recommend this enough.

This shemagh is actually the right size. I bought this one to replace the one that turned out to be undersized. The quality seems to be good, and I didn't notice any bleed in the color when I hand washed, looking for discoloration.Mine is the chocolate color and I do recommend.

lighter weight than others I've purchased, however that is not a negative for me, that is a selling point

Thin material, which might be what you want. If it's not folded up you can see through it.

i love this thing. the reviews on it helped me decide this one over others. people give me odd looks because i wear it while i drive but i dont really care what they think because it stops my beard from hitting me in the eyes (Drive safe everyone).
