mophie 2306 Juice Pack Car Dock for iPhone 5/5s/SE

The Mophie Car Charging Dock is a fantastic 5 star device. It works exactly as advertised with my Mophie Juice Pack Plus for my iPhone 5s.**How it works**It charges your device by just making contact between the pins in on the charger and silver colored contacts on the bottom of your case (that surround the USB port). There is nothing else you need to plug into your phone! The base itself plugs into your car charger or any powered USB port that your car might have. I've had trouble with mounts like this in the past because my Jeep has a slightly curved dash, so things tend to unstick pretty quickly when air gets under there and then the Jeep bounces around, but not the Mophie mount!With this mount, I can also easily move between portrait (up & down) and landscape (side to side) mode, which is great since GPS applications look much better in landscape, but most of my music streaming apps prefer portrait. Even through continued switching between the different modes, the mount shows no signs of loosening at all.**Added Benefits**- Encourages you to keep your phone charged: Not only does it work perfectly, but it also encourages me to charge my phone when I'm driving. Instead of just taking my phone out of my pocket and tossing it in the cup holder, seeing it there is a reminder to hook it up.- Works Great with Waze: Now that I have a mount that sticks (and charges my phone!) I've become even more addicted to the Waze iOS application, which is getting me to and from work much much faster. Obviously this will work with the GPS application of your choice, and having it charging while your GPS is on means no more dead phone batteries because of this juice sucker.- Notifications: Having it in front of me means that it's easily noticed when it lights up because of a weather alert, VIP email, text message, etc. and can decide if I want to take action on it or ignore it.**Conclusion**I've had the charger now for about two weeks and so far, so great! If you have a juice pack from Mophie, this is a no brainer!

As a Mophie fan I was excited to get my Car Dock for a trip up the east coast from Florida to Maine. For starters it mounted to the windshield easily and stayed put. A couple weeks after I bought it and right when I hit the road the swivel plate at the phone mount went all loose and my son and I fiddled with it for 30 minutes with a few basic tools we had to no avail. Fortunately we were visiting a farmer friend who gave me7 rubber bands to rig the thing up and we proceeded to drive 1600 miles home. I replaced the unit with Amazon after the trip. The 2nd unit has been flawless for a couple of months now. Hopefully I'll get a few years out it.

This is a great device for true hands free operation in my truck! AND it charges while in the cradle! Phone easily snaps in, stays secure and is easy to remove! Cradle adheres to windshield and allow for adjustment to any position I want! The Mophie products are great for guys like me who don't like to keep plugging and un-plugging cords all the time. I use a Mophie case for my iPhone that includes a built in battery for extra power and a Mophie docking station at home, too, that allows me to simply set my phone in the cradle while it charges! Great products!

Took a while to position in my 2007 kia optima, but I had a lot of trouble with other mounts as well. Must be the hard angle of the windshield. One thing that's weird is that as I place the iphone in, I often hit the correct buttons that make it want to power down and I have to hit cancel. Cord doesn't reach my center console (I keep it over my sightline but top left of windshield), but it reaches the cigarette lighter under the radio. Overall, very high quality and once I cleaned the windshield suction is sticking very well.

I hate the car docks that go through the air vents. This is perfect and lets you adjust where you want it to be without obstructing your vision.

Bought it for my work truck, liked it so much I got another one for my car - my only gripe is that if you’re not careful when you put it in the dock it will press down the lock button and try to shut down the phone

As soon as I saw this was a thing I purchased it. I have a iPhone SE with the mophie juice pack and love using this mount. I was able to put this on the bottom left corner of my windshield (2017 gmc terrain) and run the cable across my dash to the 12v outlet with little problem. The mount has stayed firmly in place and provides a fast and easy way to mount my phone for nav and visibility. The contact charging makes things easy, providing little hassle associated with USB.

The dash mount can't hold onto my Jetta's glare shield or dash. The window is too far away. Serves adequately in my cup holder so I can recharge and follow the navigation app.The latter 2 it does well.
