8" Nebula Plasma Ball

I wanted a plasma ball since I can remember and wanted a decent-sized one. This one is perfect for my needs. It's glass ball is 8 inches wide which I wanted. It uses only AC power, no big deal for me. It has a switch on the lower base, so it's pretty easy to use and looks cool when on. Nice novelty item to have and I like it. It does not make any noise and seems to keep me fascinated for quite awhile. 5 star rating for this item.

I bout this for my girl after my niece accidentally broke hers. Works great, the colors and reactions are brilliant. The only downside is the "sound" portion, it takes a lot of sound or vibration to make it go. But who really sets it up for sound anyway?

I purchased this item 9 months ago. It quit working the other day, I contacted them and they replaced it quickly. I use it for a night light in my kids room, it works great. Thank you customer support for your help on this. Great item.

I've developed a weird, unhealthy love of these plasma globes; the kind of intense interest that will likely soon lead to me coming home to find my family and friends sitting in a circle with the concerned, 'we need to talk' looks on their faces. But I can't help it, I just love the way these things look at night. If it weren't insane, I would replace my normal bulbs around the house with plasma globes. As it stands, I have purchased 5 globes as I try to hunt down all of the various colors. This globe works fine, but the picture here is a little misleading. The plasma in this globe is red at the center and edges where it touches the glass and violet in the middle, identical to a lot of other brands like Sensory moon. In fact, it looks EXACTLY like my Sensory moon globe and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they contain identical parts from the same manufacturer somewhere. I really like the Sensory moon, so there is nothing wrong with this one, but I took a point off because I was hoping the plasma was white as per the picture. But if you are looking for a basic plasma globe, this is a really decent one.

This is arguably the best amazon purchase I have ever made. I bought this as a Halloween prop for my "Mad Scientist Laboratory" completely unaware of all of the joy I would derive by it. We now dance together because it loves a sick beat drop even more than I do. We study together because, why not. Even the cats love it! This high quality, two-mode (dance to audio or the always on modes), large glass plasma ball is everything I could have hope and dreamed for, yet it means so much more to me than that. It's the life accessory I never knew I needed, but I clearly understand what I was missing out on all my life now.

8” ball . Works just as it did when I was little . Place your finger on tthe ball and he electricity connects to you finger . Place your whole hand on , look through the glass and the electricity makes your hand look green . No pain , just entertaining . Great night light . Warning extremely thin glass . Fragile !! Not a toy to move around . The slightest tap and you’ll shatter it

I picked this up for my daughter's 9th birthday. It is quite large, and very colorful! Although, it lasted for about a minute and a half before it shut off and was dead. I opened it up and checked all the solder joints and could find no signs of bad joints or burn marks. I'm having it replaced and will update my review after the new one arrives.

This is the perfect size and my 12 year old boy LOVES it!! It reacts to sound and it is fun to turn off the lights, play music and watch it "dance" to the beat. It is something that mesmerizes all of us and we all love playing with it. It came securely packaged and we haven't had any problems with it. I would recommend this to any science lover or just anyone who need a little stress relief.
