Giantsuper Alphabet Animals Flash Cards

I would highly recommend these cards. Initially I thought that it would be way too early for my 6mo to enjoy these, but once I put these in front of her, she stared at them for quite a while and reached for them quickly after. What I discovered is that she really loves the colors on the back (which appears to be the color palette used for each animal on the front - love that detail).For now the colors and pattern on the back totally get the job done. She's obviously too young to learn the alphabet, but one day she'll realize and see the animals on the front and it'll bring a whole new meaning to the cards.Cards - was expecting a flimsy card but was pleasantly surprised that they are thick and have good strong weight to them.Packaging - the packaging (probably more for the parents), but love it. The case is sturdy and I've always been a fan of magnet shut lips.Would recommend to any child even before learning their ABC's.Side note: I had no idea what a few of these animals were (Xantus?!) so I had to look them up myself!

I bought these as a gift. So I did not see them until after my friend had opened them up. She kept saying how nice they were and asked me where I bought them. She was surprised when I said Amazon. When I finally got a chance to see them, I understood her curiosity.These are the nicest flash cards I have ever seen! They look like they came from a high-end baby boutique. The box the cards come in reminds me of the boxes that an expensive watch would come in. I kept playing with the magnet lid. Super satisfying. :)As a gift, these cards are much more than I hoped for. My friend loved the modern, geometric animals in all kinds of colors. I am pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the art is and the incredible quality of these cards.

My daughter received these cards as a gift from a family friend. She loves them. We've been spending 15 minutes each night talking about each animal. I've got to say...the design and art are pretty remarkable. I've never seen anything like this before. I wonder if this company has other similar products.

finally got them- very good quality. never seen design like this; bought these as a baby shower gift for my expecting friends (yes, bit early but when their little one gets older, he or she'll have these nice alphabet cards to learn from~) and chew on, hahahaaa

I have a 2 year old son. Ever since he was 1 month old, I have been showing him ABC flashcards. I know.. it's sounds dumb. But, these days when he see the letter "N", he gleefully shouts "N is for [His Name]." That alone makes my long journey worth while. I am sure every parent out there would enjoy such a precious moments as well. With that said, I have to admit, these are definitely a bit pricey from other sets of cards that I have bought in the past. Yes, SETS. Your child will eat, shred, and destroy flash cards like a paper shredder. Thankfully, I got this set as a gift. However, after using them, I would not hesitate to buy a set for myself again or for other friends and family. It makes a terrific gift.So here are some of the gripes I had with my older sets and how this new set really blew me away.1. Colors and shapes. "Average" flash cards are just too boring and they do not engage your child. Typically they have Clip art looking pictures and cartoon looking letters. But, these cards have rich colors and shapes that immediately engage your child. When my son first opened the box, he started asking questions. "What's that? Bear?" "What's that? Kitty?" This is when I knew these cards were really good for my son.2. Size. These cards are huge. They are the size of two adult hands. Since the cards are much bigger than the "average" cards, I haven't lost a single letter yet. (Knock on wood). Normally, my child would lose a letter in less than a week. I seriously don't know where they go...3. Box. As father who went through more than 5 ABC flash card sets, this is one of the best features in my opinion. Not only it keeps your cards safe from losing them, but it present a great opportunity to teach your child to clean up after play. He loves to put the cards back into the box as much as learning about them. Lastly, the box has a magnetic locking device. Makes it extremely easier for my son to open and close. [TWO THUMBS UP].4. Material. When I first saw the cards, I thought these were typical cardboard printed cards. But upon close inspection, these cards had soft rubbery feel to them. They appeared to be treated with some type of coating for protection against moisture and stains. They feel like the back of Nexus 7 (2013)... if you know what i mean. Also, the cards are very very sturdy.If I had known about this product a long time ago, I think would have actually saved more money in the long run...Again, this is a great set to own or to send as a gift.

I bought these on recommendation from a friend. At first glance I didn't know what to expect, but it turns out my kids had a better eye for this than I did. They had a great time and I think they learned some recognition skills at the same time. The packaging is pleasing and the quality of the cards is impressive. Truly a designer's flash card set! Even as an adult I couldn't help but stare and challenge myself.

These are really beautiful and high quality cards. My husband and I bought them for our son and he loves looking at each one.
