I got a thigh tattoo coverup, and I knew healing would be tricky from the size concerning my pants and sheets rubbing against it. I’d heard of the brand name “skin wraps” and went searching for a cheaper solution and found this! I’m pleased to say it was the perfect solution, and this tattoo healed the fastest and easiest of all my tattoos. The adhesive is very strong though, so if your afraid to pull on the skin around your tattoo you might want to avoid this wrap. I put a very, very thin layer of salve on it before wrapping to prevent sticking and drying, and immediately removed and washed the area after waking up in the morning. Over all 10/10 and will use the next time I get a tattoo!

This is a bad product. I had an allergic reaction to it causing blisters to the area not covered by aquaphor. Luckily that was around my tattoo. I have had the usa made equivalent of this product without the issues. The adhesive is dangerous. Steer clear I threw it out after one use. Bad time!

I used this on a recent tattoo and as far as coverage and adhesion it works great. The problem comes when it's time to remove the bandage. In the past, with a similar product, I was able to peel the bandage off in the shower to ease the way but DO NOT try to remove this product with water. There are no instructions on or in the package so I thought it would be fine to peel away in the shower but the only thing that came off was the outer plastic skin part of the bandage, leaving the adhesive behind. It took several days and a some trial and error to get the adhesive off of my skin so that is a major drawback to this product.

The adhesion is great untill you put ur tattoo after care on the new tattoo and then try and use it. It don't stick for crap. comes right off this defeating the perpos of having the stuff in my opinion. Who wants to bandage something without an ointment. Granted you had the choice. Other then that it's easy to use untill it's not. Sometimes the protective peel sticks and then the bandedge may touch itself and never come undone because without any ointment this stuff is like duct tape without the hair pulling part. Wish I could give more stars for this item but without it being able to work with ointment I just can't.

I figured I'd try another brand once, and would not recommend. I kept it on for 3 days on a new tattoo, like another brand I love. It would not come off, even under running water, or with soaping it up. It hurt hurt hurt removing it, and left a sticky film on my skin for a few days that I couldn't get off with anything. If you like to have your skin feeling like it's being ripped off, then go for it. Didn't work for my skin though. It's cheaper than other brands, and now I know why.

I am a professional tattoo artist and I use this type of bandage on my clients. I'm glad that I tried it first! This is by far the WORST one I've tried. I pulled it off after a day and my tattoo is covered in sticky residue that is pretty much impossible to get off. My new tattoo is now a magnet for...anything. If you're considering this for tattoo healing... DO NOT.

Bought this as a replacement for saniderm, i have over 100 hours worth of tattoos and have experienced about 4 brands of adhesive bandage. This was by far the worst. it goes on pretty easy but when you take it off the parts stuck to the tattoo just peeled off the other bandage and i had to wait for it to fall off with the scab. not a fan.

I bought this product for my elbow tattoo since healing is tricky. I've had a previous tattoo that was covered with a similar product and it healed very good so I decided to buy this product. WRONG. I did exactly what I was supposed to but only after a couple days, i started having a bad reaction to it that caused my tattoo to develop an infection, and ive never had that problem, but when i tried to take it off, it was so sticky that it actually took the color out of my tattoo in places. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT.
