Solder that came with it is garbage
The iron itself gets up to temp quickly, but I am not convinced that this is actually capable of the 45W claim. It seems much weaker than that to me. However, it does hold temp well and the alternate tips are nice. The primary issue with this is that the provided solder is extremely bad. I am not sure if it is because it is 37/63 or the size or what. I suspect the issue is either insufficient flux or very bad flux. Soldering 2 ends of an extension cord together even with a butane iron I couldn't get it to wick more than halfway through the diameter from the top down. It literally wouldn't flow into the hotter area. I didn't have separate flux so I couldn't confirm this, but a name brand 60/40 solder (1.6mm) that I picked up solved the issues and flowed beautifully with this iron.It should do anything most people do, although, I like I said, the power does seem a bit lower than advertised (but not by that much).

Works Great
I've had this unit for 3 days and used it the day I received it. Due to the type of soldering I'm doing, I needed an iron with a very small tip and this unit is exactly what I wanted. It came with about 5 spare tips of various sizes and shapes and one of them was a duplicate of the very small tip that came installed on the iron. The only gripe I have is the solder included in the kit. It is worthless for the type of soldering I'm doing. It does not melt or flow evenly and will glob on the end. Luckily, I have some that works much better. The holder for the iron is also very light weight will move when wiping the tip on the supplied very thin sponge provided. How well this unit will hold up over time is yet to be seen as I've only had it 3 days.

Good basic soldering kit
User this to solder and better the connection on my friend's motorcycle - heats up nice and easily.Comes with 5 different soldering tips - thin pointy, thick pointy, knife, thin beveled, and thick beveled.Electronic fast heating - basically the same soldering type tool you'd find in high school / college, beginner's workshops. Should be suitable for most households for basic projects :)Bonus that it comes with two rolls of solder to get you started without anything else.

Heats up fast and has versatile tips to choose from
Works really fast to get it to the desired temperature, and has a light that easily indicates you are at the temp you chose. I like the fact that its separate the wand and device, making it small and easy to be mobile for different car work that you can not bring to the bench. Also comes with few different tips, which make it suitable for most jobs you may need it for (I also use it for plastic welding).

Good entry level iron
Purchased this unit to do some entry level soldering tasks such as repairing the wiring harness on my 65 Ford. For the price this unit feels solid and came with a variety of tips and solder to get you started. Heat up time is minimal compared to the old single cord plug in unit that I was using. Temperature adjusts easily using the front dial. Overall i would recommend this as a solid unit in this price range.

Does not provide an Auto Shut off feature - should be a required SAFETY feature.
My bad, I assumed it would have it. I think every soldering iron worth its salt, should have an auto-shut off feature for if nothing else, SAFETY. While it will screw up the unit if left unattended for a long time, what about if it fell when unattended and caused a fire. So, I'm returning this unit. Think SAFETY!

Good price for starting off
Works well for my needs. Came with extra tips. Is it a pro station? No. Can you dial in the temperature to the exact degree? No. But if you are like me starting off, wanting decent temperature control, ESD safe, and don't want to spend hundreds, this is for you.
