Last year several mason bees came into our garage and stuffed pollen and plant material into small holes that made by screws into some wooden furniture. My husband and I did not know what those bees were, so we looked it up and were suprised to learn about mason bees. It was early fall, so I decided to order the mason bee house. After looking at all the different ones available, I decided to get this one. I am not disappointed. It is beautifully and artfully made. It is, according to my picky spouse, very well made and he was impressed with the work on this item. It will fit into any garden any setting and will not be distracting to the eye or the environment. Although it is still very cold and too early for bees to make regular appearances, we plan to put our bird houses and bee house out within the next 30 days (March 1). I am looking forward to seeing if and when the mason bees find their new abode.

The look is good. It’s been up two summers and is still intact. I mounted it on a pole beside my wildflower patch which has many bees, but not a single bee of any type has taken residence in the bee house in two years.

This item is very well constructed and I hope it will prove useful. My 2nd floor patio does not attract many pollinators; there's very little flora in the surrounding area to draw them in. So far I haven't seen more bees after putting this out,but there's always hope. 😊Shipping was very fast, with a nice note and tips in the box.

My order came quickly. I was surprised that the actual product that box was in wasn’t sealed but the product didn’t sustain any difficulty.The quality of the wood is really good. It’s put together nicely and the quality of the wood is superior.As with everyone else, I’ll just sit back and wait but I’m adding soda bottle caps with a bit of sugar water to add an extra enhancement for the bees.Happy bee and insect watching everyone.
