Great Torque Wrench for a Great Price
This wrench works great. It doesn't have a very audible click but more of a feel.It is very well made. It is very easy to adjust and is very accurate. It even has reverse torque. I would highly recommend this wrench. I also bought the CDI 1503MFRMH 1/2 drive wrench which covers 20-150 foot pounds and this wrench covers 3-20 foot pounds. So with two wrenches i can basically torque anything I need to.

Great product and very economical.
I had to put new lifters and a cam in my 2007 Silverado. I already had two Snap-On torque wrenches. One up to 250 ft-lb and the other up to 100 ft-lb but didn't have one that does the really low torque settings. Since I no longer work professionally as a mechanic I didn't want to buy a Snap-on in the neighborhood of $300. I learned that CDI make the Snap-On branded torque wrenches with the only differance being the ratch head. This turned out the be a very nice torque wrench at a perfect price point. Anything cheaper is total junk and anything nice is priced really high. Only complaint is the ratchet head, not as nice as a Snap-On but I'm really not complaining for the price. I would definitly buy another CDI torque wrench if the need came up.

great tool
Comes pre calibrated with an official certificate of calibration. I have used many types of torque wrenches from snap on to proto. The quality is very high, features 3 positions for torquing application, Clockwise, Counter Clockwise and a neutral FIXED setting for those tight spots but best for use with a crows foot, that way the rachet is fixed to hold that 90 degree angle. Only draw back is that product has some type of plastic on it for the socket release mechanism, although its plastic, it is durable, but i would prefer steel.

Quality OK
I purchased this wrench online and purchased an IKON ft lb wrench at harbor freight. Sadly to say the IKONis much better quality. A. The on/off switch is metal not plastic like CDI B. The "rivet" near the top on the CDI seem weak compared to the IKON. I'm sure the CDI is a great wrench but I believe the IKON a bit better.

Works perfectly
I looked at a few cheaper models but the reviews on build quialty were not great and what's the point of a torque wrench if it can't be trusted. I have this torque wrenches bigger brother the 1/2 drive one and love it and this one is of the exact same build quality only smaller. It's essentially a snap-on brand (even says so on the label) some moan on about the head is inferior. I can't see why, I've used mine a lot and it's never missed a beat (or click). As accuracy it comes with a sheet but I haven't taken it to calibration shop but for my needs it seems right. Now I just have to save up for the 3/8 drive (10-150 lb) one and I'll have the set ;)

A Quality U.S.A. Made Tool
CDI Torque 2502MRMH 3/8-Inch Drive Metal Handle Click Type Torque Wrench, Torque Range 30 to 250-Inc Let me start off by saying this is an AWESOME torque wrench. Yes the price is high. Yes you could get one for much cheaper. But there are 2 HUGE reasons why this is a better torque wrench than most. 3/8 drive with INCH pounds!!!! I cannot tell you how freaking hard it is to find a torque wrench in inch pounds with 3/8 drive. Every spark plug socket I've ever used is 3/8 drive and every inch pound torque wrench I've found is 1/4, which means messing around with adapters that throw off your accuracy. I'm not about that life. Speaking of which.... It is ACCURATE! + or - 4% at this small of a torque range means when that wrench clicks you are right on that specified torque. This is critical for things like spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, oil pans, coil pack screws etc. Having something accurate you can trust is critical, and this tool meets the bill. The wrench itself comes in a blow mold case with the wrench itself inside along with a manual and the specific torque test results done for that wrench. The outside of the case says that CDI is a Snap-on company (which it is). That should give you an idea of the quality you are getting. Warranty is about average at I believe 1 year, but the beauty of a wrench like this is that it wouldn't be silly to get it recalibrated after so much use. Would recommend.

MIght be great but I got a lemon
I ordered this torque wrench from Amazon after a little research. I have owned torque wrenches from Craftsman, Kobalt, KD, and one other I can not remember. I was looking to upgrade and after my research found CDI Torque. They are a Snap-on Industrial brand, and if you know Snap-on it is generally regarded as one of the best names in hand tools. I took a close look and compared via images on the internet the CDI and Snap-on torque wrenches. Best that I can tell the are nearly identical except for one big difference: the ratcheting head. The Snap-on torque wrenches use a Snap-on ratcheting head. The CDI do not, they use their own and they are not made as well as I found out. Upon the first use of the CDI Torque wrench I torqued exactly 5 bolts and then noticed that it went in to free play. One of the pawls in the ratcheting mechanism broke making the wrench now useless. Since I had only owned for a few days I decided to see what the CDI warranty was like. The CDI warranty is one year from the DATE OF MANUFACTURE, NOT DATE OF PURCHASE! This is a very important fact! I contacted CDI and the told me this and said that my wrench was likely out of warranty and that I should just return or exchange with Amazon. They were nice about and offered to look up my manufacture date via the serial number. I sent it to them knowing that right on the plastic case was a sticker that said "MFG JUN/12" which I figured meant it was made in June of 2012. The Certificate of Calibration also had a June of 2012 date. After they looked up the serial number they came back and told me, to their surprise, it was manufactured in May of 2012 and that it was under warranty. Due to the fact that it was faster to return to Amazon and just get a replacement I decided to do that. Amazon makes returns and exchanges very easy. I am dropping off the defective unit tonight and they have already shipped the replacement. I am going to give CDI another try. One other nick on them is that the wrench isn't made entirely in the USA, it is made in the USA of US and foreign parts. Judging by the looks of the broken pawl and the way it cracked it looked like a cheap foreign casting. Hopefully the next one is a winner. Update, my buddy bought one and it broke the same way. He had it repaired and they replaced the head with a different one that looks EXACTLY like the Snap-On head. After further investigation he lucked out and that was a mistake. The head they used to fix his is normally only for government contracts which require ALL parts be made in the USA.

High quality and very accurate, I tested it against Performance Tools beam style torque wrench.
Very accurate tested it against Performace Tools 0-60 in lb wrench which I also own. I used two 1/4 in sockets with a 1/4 inch bit connecting them. For low torque below 35-40lbs the performance tool could be considered slightly better because of the fact it doesn't click when it's reached torque. I found that the when the head clicked at lower torques it could add 2-3 in lbs of force for just a moment which doesn't happen at higher values. This doesn't bother me I actually prefer it this way. My only concern was the wrench was not set back to 0 when I received it, but the wrench is still very accurate. Also the bottom of this wrench is not cheap plastic it is a quality rubber, very happy with this tool overall.

Nice little 3/8 drive torque wrench
Small, fits in tight places, nice distinct click, reversible ratchet, works as it should. Only complaint is I need my glasses to read the setting.

Accurate at a great price.
Really nice torque wrench. Short enough to fit into tight places. Very precise, company says accurate to +/- 4%, but the calibration certificate that came with mine was within +/- 1.5%. Only thing I didn't like was the switch on the ratchet doesn't have a positive detent, it's very easy to switch it when working in a tight spot, not worth removing a star though.
