Nice watch, great price
Watch and band are light and comfortable. Quality and feel are more higher than the $55 price point. I like how it looks on my arm. The smaller 38mm case works well for me when I take it to work.

Simple and comfortable
Not many features in this watch and i guess that's the reason why i so liking it.Beautiful and easy to read, super light weight with Japanese all metal mechanism. You can't go wrong with this watch specially with that price

Surprisingly Sturdy Little Watch
I'm a watch collector, and own only 1 quartz watch... and it's this bad boy...I had spent a bunch of time researching rugged analog watches under $75 that can take a beating (and wasn't a g-shock).... this thing really blew me away. I wear it when I am working house renovations, landscaping, exercising... I beat this thing up and it keeps on ticking.I prefer watches smaller than 40mm, and this 36mm on a 7.25 inch wrist doesn't look out of place.Would love a 100m water resistance, but also understand that a screw down crown is improbable with the plastic casing... and would likely bump up the price. But at 48 bucks... I can replace the thing every few years..

Comfortable field watch
Great watch. It’s exactly what it says it is. A field watch made for comfort. Not the most expensive build quality, but a great watch for the price

Overall a great watch for the price
Pros: lightweight, comfortable, legible, affordableCons: 19mm lug width [why would they do this, I have no idea], lume is bad, only 50m water resistant.

Photos showed 3 bands.
Photos on the posting showed 3 bands: FDE, OD and Black. Watch came with only the FDE band. Not cool. Thought I was buying watch + 3 bands. Nowhere does it say "only comes with 1 band".

Bought this watch for my wife.
She's quite happy with it so I am as well. She has nicer watches. She has a few pocket watches. She even has a smart watch. But she hates wearing them for various reasons. I think she doesn't want to accidentally murder anything valuable- she hates heavy things binding her wrist- oh and she finds the idea of a supercomputer strapped to her wrist, watching her every move, generally repugnant. (her father in law gave her that watch. go dad.) This is the one she takes to work. She likes the spartan design and that it's lightweight. And it kind of turned her into a person who-wears-a-watch-at-work. She'll occasionally say things to me like, "gee, it's nice to know what time it is without having to reach into my purse and grab my phone". So now when I sell my 15 year old Subaru Forrester and buy half a vintage Alpinist with it, I can say "eh, you get it. you're a watch person now..."
