Daisy Powerline 5501 Is A Great Purchase! Will Do Again
The Daisy Powerline 5501 Blow Back Air Pistol is more than worth the price I paid for it. I may have to purchase a back up in the event I completely wear this one out as I'm shooting it so much. I purchased 4 spare mags and going to purchase a 5th so I have six total mags as this little pistol shoots 90 bbs consistently without running out of co2 gas.I'd recommend this brand and model to anyone that likes to shoot fast and hit what they're shooting at.

IMPRESSIVE - FOR ONE DAY
When I first received the Daisy Powerline 5501, I found it to be rather impressive in terms of its overall appearance. Had a pretty realistic feel to it as well. I wish my first impression would have been a lasting one, but after running through the first several magazine loads, it started to misfire. I noticed that the seal around the CO2 cartridge had popped out of position, so I gently pushed it back in, thinking that the problem was solved. However, not only did the misfires continue, but, just as has been written in many other reviews, the semi-auto feature failed repeatedly. The result being that I had to pull the slide back after every shot or two, in order for it to fire. I could understand if this was an isolated issue. However, based on the number of times this problem is mentioned in other reviews, it appears to be a known issue, and I consider it to be unacceptable for Daisy to continue to manufacture and sell aproduct that apparently has a recurrent operating defect.I have no issue with Amazon as the seller, whose policy is such that returns must be addressed to Daisy. Not wanting to waste any more time or thought, I simply placed it in the garbage where it belongs. I then ordered a Umarex Beretta M92 A1, and, so far, at least, I am extremely satisfied with its build quality and functionality.Too bad, because I always liked the Daisy lever action rifle that I had decades ago. Still have it, in fact. But it looks like that will be the last Daisy product I will own.
