Yes, it is a little flimsy but it works! Unless you are a professional this is ideal for home use. Very easy to use and store.

Works well in measuring on the ground distances where using a tape measure is impractical. Only difficulty encountered was that small rocks will impede the travel of the wheel. Buying a tool with a larger diameter wheel is a better option.

Very lightweight and easily stored in my office at work. It took a bit of a self-training period to balance it on the one wheel. Seems very accurate once you get it going the right direction (as it also counts backwards). The numbers are easy to read and easy to reset. The one thing I have noticed is that the pole will sometimes slide if you don’t tighten it all the way and then putting back in the storage back it has to be at its smallest possible position. Pleased with the products performance.

We purchased this item to measure out booth spaces as well as projects at our animal sanctuary. It is a lot less heavy duty then similar products I have used in the past. The wheel is quite small, and it does not roll well outdoors over grassy or bumpy areas. Also have issues with arm extension getting stuck and not wanting to expand appropriately.It works in a pinch, but I would not purchase again.

I used this to measure out streetlight placement in my neighborhood. The texture of the wheel made it not slip on road or in grass and bumpy ground. I rolled out a paper 100' measuring tape and walked it 3 times and the wheel was exactly at 300', so it is accurate. The handle extends to the perfect length and I am 6'2". The numbers are easy to read.

I ordered one of these, when I received it and opened the box an unbearable stink washed over me. It smelled like an electrical fire happened inside the box. Just a toxic chemical repulsive smell. Furthermore, when I put it back into the bag it comes with, the zipper popped off.So I thought it was a one off problem, and asked for a replacement be sent. I got that today and the same horrible smell. Didn't even take it out of the bag this time, I don't want to touch it.If I were you, don't buy this. The smell gets on your hands too if you handle the thing. It wouldn't wash off, the smell finally wore off a day later.
