GFK-160A Fireplace Blower Fan

Well made product. 1/3 of the price the local Heat-N-Glow dealer wanted to charge me. Easy to install in my Heat-N-Glow fireplace. Instructions could be clearer regarding where to install the magnetized temperature sensor switch -- it should be placed on the outside of the wall of the metal box containing the flame and log unit. I mistaken placed it on the outer most metal box of the unit. The sensor did not work in this location. Other than that, it is a great product.

I can't believe I didn't get this year's ago. Installation took 20 minutes (so easy). Blower works great and it's quieter than my newer gas stove in the basement. I was pleased to find that my double wall switch for the fireplace, which we didn't know what the second switch was for, ended up being the empty outlet for the blower!

Fan works great and was relatively easy to install. It is a bit on the noisy side, but it is a fan after all. I had to turn it down to medium low speed so that I couldn't hear it over the TV. That would be my only bit of criticism.

Works as it should. The size was perfect and fit well in the space under and to the back of the fireplace. You’ll probably have to disconnect the gas line to install, but you can do it. Just get a gas detector and check everything for leaks when you put it back together. The blower is strong and the adjustable fan speed is nice. We installed the adjuster just outside of the cover at the bottom so we could easily adjust the fan.

Finally, it's cold enough to try my blower fan for the gas fireplace. Fan is quite and blows sufficient air to warm the house better. Installation was not too difficult, and instructions were detailed.

This product works well and was a good fit for my Heat n glo gas fireplace. Just plug it in and it works. Great price

Works as it should. Quiet. Install wasn't too bad.

Does not fit Mountain Hearth fireplace. Waited too long to try the installation. I am Now stuck with it.
