Updated 03/07/2021:My kids have dropped these, accidentally sat on them, and constantly play with the kickstand/handle (even with their feet (gross) while watching a movie/show). They have run across the house with these in hand (imagine plenty of shaking) and they're holding up just fine and the tablet is very secure. I have no complaints, very happy with this purchase.Original Review:I purchased two of these, one pink and one blue for my 2.5 year old and almost 4 year old. I have not received their tablets yet, but my husband and I have the same ones (mine is the 2019 model without the pen, which is pictured here), so I placed mine in the case to "test" it.> The fit is firm, but not so tight that I felt like I would crush the tablet while putting it in the case.> ALL of the input/output slots, buttons, and front and rear cameras line up perfectly with the holes and concave areas of the case.> The handle/kick stand can be used in either direction, preventing a child from pushing it in the wrong direction and breaking it.> The material is a thick, spongy-feeling foam that seems durable enough to take a few drops without allowing damage to the tablet as it would absorb the shock, as advertised.> I held the handle in one hand and shook it like a rag doll and the tablet was secure the entire time.> I feel confident handing this to my 2.5 and my 4 year old kids.A couple of things that I would like to see in this style of case are covers over each input/output slot and a sturdy plastic covering for the front of the tablet. My concerns are children trying to plug something into these orifices or dropping the tablet face down on a toy/item that hits the screen directly. Screen protectors are not very effective in this aspect, so the additional protection would be great.Unfortunately, these were purchased in July, but are actually Christmas gifts, so I will try to remember to update my review once they've handled them for a month or so.

This case is incredibly sturdy, durable and easy to hold. It's really easy to attach, too — You just "pop out" the plastic spacer and "pop in" the Samsung tablet. The front rim is deep enough that it does a good job of protecting the screen from scratches, too.My 4yo will sit and absentmindedly force the handle back and forth while watching PBS Kids, and to my surprise the handle is no worse for wear. It still works as a stand, and there's no damages to the hinge area. Thanks to the handle, he hasn't accidentally dropped his tablet once. He HAS thrown it — but thanks to this case, it's been fine every time. 10/10, would absolutely buy again.

Super user friendly. Flexible yet durable. Love that it can be positioned multiple ways for reading comfort as I mostly use my Tab A as an e reader. Highly recommend.

Exactly what I expected in a foam tablet case. It's just a simple colored piece of hard foam-like material that fits snugly around the tablet, but it serves its purpose well. It protects the tablet from accidental drops, converts into a stand, and has a handle for easy carrying. It's a great addition to a children's tablet. We have two of these and one of them is almost three years old and has no signs of damage.

As a case you really can't beat it. It fits great, is light and damn near impossible to rip, tear or cut. My only complaint is in it's stand functionality. The handle only bends to a 90 degree angle. For anyone who has use a stand of some sort to watch their phone or tablet you know that you need it to go beyond 90 degrees in order for it to be comfortable to view. I decided to modify it myself and take some foam out on the back side to allow it to bend past 90 degrees. This is how i know how insane this case is.... Razer blades have nothing on this stuff, it's crazy. I ended up having to use a torch on the razor blades and heat cut through the foam to be able to do anything to it.

I am a big researcher and I spent a lot of time reading reviews for cases and screen protectors for the tablet I gave my kids for Christmas. This case is a perfect fit for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8" - Model SM-T290NZKCXAR I purchased from Costco in December, 2020. Easy to install, carry, use, prop up, and all the ports are properly exposed.***Please note that it does NOT come with a screen protector, so you will need to purchase separately. Esta muy bien, protege excelente de niños inquietos o frustrados jeje. Lo único es que es muy difícil meter la tablet en la funda, pareciera que no es la medida....pero aplicas palanca con una cuchara o algo y ya esta...cuidando de no dañar la tablet. Es la 2da vez que la compro ( no con el mismo proovedor) y la 1ra vez al.dejarla en el auto se hizo pequeña y no funcionó más para el tamaño de tablet que tenemos hay que tener cuidado con eso.parwce material ordinario pero la verdad que es muy resistente...es una buena compra.

Hasta el momento ha aguantado el trato de una niña.

I purchased many of these for my grandchildren and their tablets their tablets been quite expensive I am very very happy with this product and would recommend it highlyMake sure your specifications are for the exact fit to this cover it fits well it’s got a nice snug fit protects your product very well probably one of the best ones I’ve seen on the market it’s very durable these tablets have been dropped numerous times with the covers on and have never broken this is an excellent cover for children and it makes it very easy for them to hold our grandchildren carry them everywhere excellent product I only wish they made More of them for numerous other companies I find they are limited to certain companies where they are compatible
