Zebra Pen M-301 Stainless Steel Mechanical Pencils, 0.7 mm, (Pack of 1,2 Count Total)

These are my go to mechanical pencils. I own a Pentel as well but it costs 5x as much and broke on me. I have been using these Zebras for years. I use them in the office and the woodworking shop. They are a great value and I don't worry about the loss if I lose one.

Like the small sleek size. Downside is the microscopic eraser.

I've had used 0.5mm version of this pencil for a long time, so I was pretty confident I wasn't going to be disappointed and I was right. It's compact, minimum necessary size is the most attractive feature. I deduct one star because one each of three leads(total 2 out of 6 leads) in each pencils have been broken. The leads included in the pencils seem to be high quality, they give a good writing feel to it(not scratchy, not wear out quickly). Because of its small size, it can be carried anywhere and take small notes.

I love them, just perfect they write so smooth, will definitely buy them again.

I like this Pencil. It has good weight when holding. The lead writes smooth and dark. I am very happy with this purchase. Would certainly buy again.

Have always loved Zebra pens and pencils. These hold up so nicely in kids backpacks where others get broken or cracked these are always ready to go. My oldest loves how they write and says they are his favorite by far.

I got these after a second previous 0.7 Uni Kuru Toga broke in the SAME place as the first, after one drop. How's that for durability on a pencil that each costs as two of these? For a bargain, these have a steel outer body, and a brass clutch that holds the lead. These are nearly unheard of features at this price point! The metal lead sleeve (that needle-like tip) does not retract, so it's not a hundred percent pocket safe. Each click of the top advances the lead by about 1 mm, so it shouldn't break all that easily, though you might have to click a little more often.The pencil itself is a touch slim, and while the black textured grip surface feels pretty good, it might not be a hundred percent comfortable for larger hands. The pencil is very light, shorter than the average, and slim. It has a dainty appearance. But for lying around on your desk for making memos, or for sticking into the spiral rings of your organizer/agenda, it's perfect!For this price point and the construction method, I would even suggest getting it for older elementary school or junior high school kids. They will have a reliable work horse for all their classroom needs.

I love a mechanical pencil - but not these. One in the packet didn't work, the other did. Very light weight, and the mechanism won't last. Don't waste your money.

Perfect mechanical pencil. I choose thicker lead 0.7 —— which is also darker. Ver useful for completing puzzles—- errors can easily be erased
