Nice reel, 8 inches, 11 pounds of wire. It fit my MIG welder just fine.

The wire itself is fine. However, the item is very heavy and the metal wire is on a plastic spool. Amazon just throws the vendor's box into a larger box with puff air pillows. Yeah, that's not going to work. What will happen is that every time the outer box is moved the inside box with the roll of wire slams against the outer box. The inertia of this slams the entire box against anything hard and the plastic spool cracks.A few more times and the spool breaks rendering the roll useless.Had to return it the first time (good return policy!) and the next box fared a bit better, but I still had to glue the plastic to keep the wire inside the roll.I've had this issue with other heavy items just thrown onto a bigger Amazon box. You must keep the inner box from sliding or this double boxing does nothing.

Works well for the price, good value. The packaging is an absolute joke. Hit or miss for it arriving damaged. Mine surpringly came intact.

The wire is good the problem I am now having is the way it had been winded on the spool there is overlapping and now while I am welding the wire is getting caught up.and I have to unspool correct winning and reinstall in my brand new 220 Ironman 240 welder. I understand you get what you pay for and I am paying for it. Won't buy again its a shame good wire and price or so I thought.

I ordered this product and arrived in 2 days. The spool of wire was packed very well. Double boxed with thick padding all around it. I have only been using it for a day but appears to work and feed well through my machine. This wire cost a few dollars more than PGN Bearings but since they packed it so well it was worth it. I previously ordered through PGN Bearings and they didn't pack it well. It arrived unusable and I had to send it back for a refund. Welding City now has my business. Thank you!

Was a bit nervous after reading other reviews about damage in shipping, but it was very well packed and in perfect condition. Will buy again when needed.
