Updated review to include new information.
I'm disappointed. The taste is average, but the consistency of this balsamic vinegar is way too thin. I will use it, as it is equivalent to anything I can find on a grocery shelf. However, I will not order it again.Update: The customer service at this company is amazing. After I wrote this review, the owner of the company contacted. He explained there was an issue with one of his shipments, and they were attempting to recover the bad product. He sent me a replacement bottle of his Organic vinagar, which is excellent. The fact that manufacturer actually reads these reviews was impressive, as was the customer service. I changed my rating from 3 stars to 5. I will also recant my decision to not purchase again, as the new bottle was incredible and well worth the price!

Wow!
I have tried some of the cheaper balsamic vinegars on the market & did not care for the flavor. This one is very different. Excellent flavor! It came very well packaged & arrived quickly. So far I have only used this on my salad but plan on branching out a bit & trying it on other foods as well. Yes, it is more expensive than what you will find in most stores but for me, the incredible flavor is well worth the cost. It does not take much of the vinegar to impart its flavor so a little does go a long ways. so far I have not needed to use more than 1 teaspoon on my salad. That small amount, when stirred into the salad, is more than enough to cover it with excellent flavor.

I keep trying balsamics but just can’t find one we love
We found this to be too sour tasting and too musty in general. My favorite brand has been unavailable for so long, I decided to start trying other brands. This is the third one we’ve tried and no one in my house liked it.I get that tastes differ widely from one person to another, but my gang said, don’t get this again, please. This has been an expensive learning experience. I just ordered another brand to try... around $60 this time. Maybe that’s where I’m missing the mark - while my last favorite but out of stock one that last sold for $64 for 12.7 ounces, do better balsamics cost more now?

Wow!!
I was on a mission to find an organic 4% vinegar instead of a 6%. So glad I got this one! I actually went back to order a second within a week of opening the first bottle because it is so thick and has such an amazing flavor. While it is a little pricey, I must say it’s the best balsamic vinegar I’ve ever had.. and I’ve tried a handful of very expensive aged vinegars. You won’t go wrong with this one, just wish the bottle was bigger for the cost.

Same flavor profile of my Tuscan bought 30yr Aged Balsamic. Fraction of Price.
I have been using this delicious aged Balsamic for a month now. I have to say I never thought a premium balsamic could enhance cooking as much as this has. It completely changes a basic homemade sourdough bread loaf to a high-class presented appetizer. It is sweet, tangy, sour and has a mellow aged aftertaste that pairs generously with any bread, meat, or even base such as vanilla ice cream! For those of you who are looking for the economical alternative to Tuscan aged Balsamic, this is right on the money, for a fraction of the price.

Not the real deal I don’t recommend it.
Not worth the money. I am using balsamic on a daily basis. I thought I would try something new for a change this is just not worth the money. I highly don’t recommend this product after using the Giusti Balsamic cubica nothing come close. I think I will just have to go back and get more of the Giusti. This is too acidic and off.

Thick balsamic. Bad aftertaste.
I have been trying a number of balsamic vinegars similar to this one. This balsamic is thick—wonderful texture. That said, there is an aftertaste that I cannot stand. Almost a smoky flavor, which, for me, is horrible, especially in a balsamic vinegar. The label says, "Aged in wooden barrels," so I'm guessing that's the source of the flavor. I'm sad, because other than the unusual aftertaste, this is a wonderful balsamic. Unfortunately, this is not returnable due to policy.

Best balsamic vinegar!
Hands down the best balsamic vinegar we have tasted. We tried the traditional and the organic version. The organic version was our preference due to it being more sweeter and having less of a vinegar bite.
