The heat color you choose determines the color displacement your bulbs will have. In other words, the heat color refers to the color of the hue your xenon bulb will output. As the heat color value increases the hue will range from from yellow to white,white to light blue and light blue to dark blue with the 5000K pure white being the brightest. As the heat color value increases and the color changes so does the lumens (amount of light output). The lumens will decrease in the higher Kelvin numbers. In summation the higher the Kelvin number the more blue but less lumens of light ouput.
