Got this as a Christmas gift for my nephew who is obsessed with hot sauces. He made them all, they were a hit! But be careful when you're boiling some of the sauces with the chilis, because the very strong chilis made our eyes water as the water boiled.

Freaking fantastic. If you want to make your own hot sauce then this kit is all you need. It has everything in one box necessary to make a wide range of sauces. It is so easy to do so too. I've wanted to make my own hot sauce for a long time now. My birthday came and the thoughtful wife purchased this kit for me. Not fair how thoughtful she is.This kit makes it very easy to make several different flavors and heat levels of sauces. It is so much fun to add different ingredients to get certain tastes from your sauce. I've made serveral bottles and loved every one. It does not take long either.For the amount of fun you get and the fact that this kit has everything needed, this is well worth the money. It's fun to take a bottle to your friends bbq and tell them you made it. It's fun to experiment with different ingredients for different flavors and heat.With this kit you can adjust your sauce in the pot before you have a finished product to make sure it's delicious. Could not be any easier. Truly very easy...however some of the peppers provided are very hot and you need gloves to handle them. So be careful when handling the peppers...you can get the dust on your finger and itch an eye, that would make for a long night.If you want a great gift or want to make your own hot sauce then this kit is perfect. There are even bottle stickers to label your sauce which if you are immature like me then it's an added bonus of fun.I could not be happier with this kit.

This product was great besides one of the bottles arriving broken. There were glass shards everywhere in the box when I opened it.

I bought this gift for my husband. He LOVED it and the sauces were incredibly tasty!

This is such a great kit. I LOVE the packaging and the layout on the instructions. It came with pretty much everything you need to make hot sauce. I might add some fresh veggies to this to try some alternative recipes. But not until I have tried all of theirs out first. Birds eye chili has me drooling. What a great concept and gift idea. I will be sending these out to friends for sure. Recommend 5/5 stars!!

i can't speak to the flavors but i gifted this to a person who LOVES hot sauce and they were excited to make their own blends...will have to check back to see what they think and made

I attached some photos from my kit and the things you'll see, I was super excited when I got this kit. I love to make things! What I didn't notice though is that it says it comes with everything to make 6 sauces, well read the small print because you still need to do some grocery shopping! it comes with everything to make 6 bottles of the Louisiana sauce if you want to make something thicker or a different recipe they provide you with you may need onions or garlic and tomatoes. My sauce came out kind of thin I screwed up by not reading ALL the directions first because you need to boil it and I made just enough to fill my bottle before boiling so everything missing in my bottle is what I lost during the boiling step. I used my food processor to grind the peppers and the chipotle is a little something extra I had bought for my sauce.Deluxe Hot Sauce Making Kit - Includes Everything Needed to Make 6 Sauces

Finally tried making the hot sauce. I like the idea, but the kit and the recipe it just a little deficient.(1) the kit gives recipes for 6 sauces but there are no precise measurements as to how much of what needs to put in, or maybe it's just not clear. I know the idea is to add ingredients to taste and experiment for yourself what proportions you like, but for a beginner who just wants to make a good sauce according to what is told, this is not good enough.(2) a sanitizer is said to be included in the kit but I find no such sanitizer. I had to boil the bottles.(3) two packets of cayenne pepper were included and no new Mexico chili powder was included. If the recipe calls for new Mexico chili powder, why isn't it included?I made two of the sauces and both tasted nice. Hence 3 stars.
