Tempur-Pedic TP9000 Mesh Task Chair, Navy Blue (TP9000-NAVY)

I purchased my first Tempur-Pedic TP9000 for a colleague that sat next to me and was very picky about her desk chair. When others needed to upgrade their desk chairs, they tried my office mates' chair and asked me to purchase the same. That was over 12 years ago and I've since purchased at least 20 of these for our offices. Just this year I was asked by a new employee to change out her Tempur-Pedic chair, and that was only because she thought it squeaked. I replaced it with a new Tempur-Pedic and she's completely happy. Personally, I love that this is a wider chair so you can easily sit in different positions (I didn't install the arm rests). The fabric is commercial grade and I haven't had any trouble with tears or thinning in even the older chairs. The fabric is also easy to clean with a wipe, which we did all the time back in the pandemic. The seat is over 3" thick shows no sign of sinking. I never need to recline, so I can't speak to that, but the chair easily adjust higher or lower without issue. Great desk chair.

These chairs are super comfortable. I have had one for about three years and just bought this one for my mom. The cushion on the one that I've used for years for many hours on most days is getting compressed and doesn't spring all the way back anymore, but I guess that's to be expected with memory foam. The arms and lumbar support aren't adjustable like my last home office chair, but that's fine since they are already perfect for me.

I have had this chair for about 4 years now. The base is very soft however it doesn’t recline well. Most days my back gets really stiff and after an 8 hour day, it’s shot. I would recommend only if you don’t want to recline.
