Excellent durability; sizable volume-limit
These are wonderful headphones. I had a 2 year old who's rough on everything he owns. We've had these over 2 months and they've received a lot of use (and a fair amount of abuse too). They are still in perfect condition! The volume limit function is preset and unalterable; it's also set lower compared to some other ones we've used over the years. For our purposes, that's a good thing, but it may not be for yours. These are a comfortable fit for both of my boys - ages 2 and 6.

It's OK
I bought these for my 4 year old son to use with several "I" devices he has. Unfortunately they are not very loud, which I get and I bought them to protect his hearing but in loud restaurants he still can't hear his movie. They are reasonably comfortable and he loved making them his with stickers and stuff and I have listened to them and they have decent frequency response. Just with they were a tad louder for moves. What would be great is an active compression circuit to make dynamic sources like movies to be relatively the same volume all the way through. Then these would be great.

At First Glance they look good. I mean they are going to be for my 7 year old son. He can add stickers, write on them, be creative...But that's where it ends.....3 months in one side stopped work...Then the other. now they are just ear muffs with now sound. I will not be buying these again. FYI I also bought a pair for my daughter who is 4 years old ( at the same time as my sons) and the same thing happened.

Good product in theory......
I purchased this product for my two-year old son because of the volume safety feature. I didn't want him to ruin his hearing. However, the volume was too low so he refused to wear the earphones.

So far, so good. Still stereo sound after 3 months of careless toddler use.
After beating up on Sony and Kidz Gear headphones, I decided to give these a chance for my girls. My daughters (4 & 3 yr olds), love them. They're a little quiet, but they've held up really well to this point.

Fantastic product for the price
Fantastic product for the price. I have purchased three pairs over the last year. My son broke the wire on his first pair, but he's super rough on stuff. My daughter is still on the first pair, and they are great for in the car on long trips. Or anywhere we just don't want to hear their devices. I won't waste my money on pricier products when these do such a great job without blaring the sound.

Meh...
These are super cute, and I love how the kids get to basically create their own headphones with their own art... They are super cushy and comfortable... My main issue is, the wire broke super easily! He did not even get to take them to school for the first day before I had to run out and get more. I won't say it is necessarily the fault of the headphones, since my little boy is rough on things, but I do not recommend these if your little one is rough!

Useless for airplanes... Can't hear a thing!
We bought 3 sets of these headphones so our kids could use them on the airplane while traveling this summer. My husband (who always does extensive research) chose these based on reviews as well as the noise-limit levels, he also works with Ear Nose Throat docs, so was extra concerned about how loud other headphones can get. I read reviews that said these headphones are too quiet for airplane rides. So against my better judgement, we bought them. Sure enough, on the 8 hour flight I took with my kids (husband didn't come with us) the headphones where IMPOSSIBLE to hear. They were useless... Now, I go to return them... Missed out on the 30 day window!

Works for the purpose until it breaks.
The headphones do a good job at limiting volume and blocking outside noise. The customizing stickers don't really stick well, though, and more importantly, the headphones broke within 2 months. Headphones marketed for children need to be more durable.

Bought these headphones in January 2014, they were fantastic, looked good and worked well until May when the cable broke from the metal adapter that attaches to the ipad. I sent them back to the retailer in October (took me a while to decide if i should ask for a replacement - as you do!) who sent a replacement. But by January, the headphones stopped working completely,i again contacted the retailer through AMAZON and was told i was out of the warranty period and told me to contact Crayola direct which i have done today at last.

Didn't last long before 1 headphone broke.
Looked well and the kids liked to colour them in but broke within a few months. Bought 2 sets of headphones and both pairs broke. Only 1 earphone ended up working on each pair.
