Gillette Fusion Proglide Clear Shave Gel 5.9 oz (Pack of 2)

Gillette's Shaving Gel is way better than any other Shaving product I've used! I will continue to buy this, and only this from now on to help shave my body/face. I've stuck with Gillette's shaving FOAM and Barbasol's shaving foam since I've started shaving circa 2010, until I came across Gillette's shaving GEL. The gel isn't sticky, like hair products, if that was ever in questioning. It's a cool and soothing (Like Aloe Vera), blue gel that stays clear when you rub on hands and spread on your face and/or body. I use it for shaving all parts of my body but I findTHIS GEL TO BE EXTREMELY USEFUL WHEN SHAVING MY BEARD/GOATEE. As you may know, trying to shape a beard with SHAVING FOAM IS A NIGHTMARE! It's almost impossible to do a decent job shaping a beard with foam, so if youre a guy who has a beard that needs to stay maintained and shaped, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY THIS PRODUCT!PROS:-Gives you a cool, soothing, and refreshing sensation-Spreads easily, so 1 product will last a while!-Best for shaping up beards-It's blue. that's my favorite color ;)-Leaves skin feeling very smooth and hydrated. Recommend using the Gillete Fusion Proglide Razor for best results.CONS:Honestly there are NONE, in my opinion. This products a 10/10

This Gillette shave gel is really wonderful! The first thing my pregnant wife noticed upon receiving it was that it smells really good! It is not too strong and not too spicy as some men’s hygiene products are and for once it didn’t make her feel nauseous. I also liked the smell, it was extremely pleasant.It also mixed well with my other shower products of Dove Men and Head and Shoulders Shampoo. I prefer this over shaving cream because it is not as messy and thick, and because the bottles are shorter, which means they fit comfortably on any shelf in my tiny 1960’s bathroom cabinet. My previous can of shaving cream fit only because we took a shelf out- very inconvenient! I like how smooth of a shave and close to the skin I got with this gel, and my face felt incredibly soft afterwards. My skin is naturally oily and it didn’t seem to make it any worse. I did not develop any extra acne after I used this. I definitely think this is a product for all skin types. Since I am not too hairy of a guy, I don’t have to shave all of the time, but I do shave approximately 2-3 times a week. I can’t wait to use it again, and I am sure my wife will be stealing this for her shaving routine after she felt my face. I guess maybe it’s an extra great thing that the package comes with two bottles!

The key to a good shave gel is for it to provide maximum lubrication on the face, but at the same time, not clog the razor. This product hits the perfect balance. It provides exceptional lubrication, and at the same time is water soluble enough that it washes out of the razor effectively. Some shave gels quickly clog the razor, and I am pleased to see that this one does not. The aroma is pleasing as well.A key issue is to compare this to the Remington King of Shaves Alphagel product. I find the Remington product to provide more lubrication, and perhaps an initial slight advantage in shave smoothness. The issue I have is that the remington product QUICKLY clogs multi blade razors. You end up with a little glob between blades that a fast stream of very hot water will not release. Once the blades become clogged, you start getting terrible shaves. With the Remington product, I end up having to frequently change blades. So, I have to give this Gillette product the thumbs up over the Remington product.To date, this is the best shave gel I have found, and provides the smoothest possible shave, without clogging your blade.

I have shaved with Gillette cartridge razors for over forty years. I hated the Mach 3 so I moved up to the Mach 5, and I've been happy ever since. The current Mach 5 is a wonderful razor that shaves smoothly with zero irritation. The lack of irritation is partially because I use a small pearl sized dollop of this product mixed with a good shaving gel such as Edge. Gillette's ProGlide gel makes a regular gel UBER slick and creamy, which reduces the possibility of cuts to almost zero. I haven't cut myself with a Mach 5 since I've been using that razor. I DO get super smooth close shave with two passes. Recently I have also started DE wet shaving, but when I'm in a hurry and I have to shave and get out the door....I use this product in combination with Edge gel to give me a BBS smooth shave in five minutes. A little goes a long way and my current tube has lasted me for over a decade. The three tubes that I bought recently from Amazon will last me the rest of my lifetime.

Updated 2020:I really like the gel but between 2018 and 2020 it has more than DOUBLED in price. in 2018, I paid $10 for a twin pack, now it’s being sold for $24. It’s man made gel, how expensive can the ingredients get in two years? I’ll look for alternatives.2018My favorite shaving gel. A small amount goes a long way so the bottle lasts a long time. I recently started to use it with a shaving brush and it is the most amazing shave Ive ever had!

I'v read Amazon reviews, and I was really hesitant to get it.Basically, I needed this CLEAR Gel, which is not foaming, and that is exactly why I wanted it, for detailing my mustache and goatee.The gel was clear enough for me to see exactly where to edge.Nothing major with this non foaming gel. It does the job as it suppose to.I'd like to say that it is not easy to clean the gel from your face compared with a shaving cream.Nice clear gel, got a good view on what to shave, and I'm happy with it.If you give yourself a full shave, I would suggest that you get a shaving cream/soap, but for edging, a clear non foaming gel would make the job easier.Please mind that some negative reviews were unhappy because they thought this gel gonna give a foam/lather.
