Speaker received in good condition and new one. Bluetooth connectivity and play is good and sound is excellent. Most disturbing part is volume up and down button combined with FM radio search..If you hard press to reduce or increase volume, it gets into radio channel search and becomes silent..In radio mode, It is difficult to make out which station it is receiving as there is no display. You have find it only by experience. FM reception quality is excellent only when microUSB is connected. There should have been separate button for volume up and down. The speaker is best for listening in bluetooth mode not for cumbersome FM if you don't want to access the speaker often for changing station and adjust the volume. USB and microSD play are good. Great sound quality and best product at this cost. Overall experience is good and i like this quality Jap product which ruled as top brand in audio equipment industry in 80s and 90s.

The speaker does not run for as much hours as informed in the product info. May be, runs for less than half the period.In the same way, the speaker does not charge for as much hours.During use, if the Charge gets exhasted, the speaker can not be used further, by connecting to a charging point, while charging, with exhausted charge position.I have been using Boat 3W. It can be used simultaneously while charging. Hence if not charged, it is not a problem with Boat 3W with me, simply connect to a charging point and use.But the Akai can not be used while charging. While charging, if we continue to use, even though charging, it will ring certain tone to inform us that charge is insufficient, hence it may stop now (even if it is being charged).S Umesha Mallya

Product outer case finishing is awesome, however sound quality is not up to the mark….

Sound I like itConnectivity goodBattery life doesn't use much so nothing to say about itBut the seal of the box was opened so if any other issue I found I have to change the product

On Amazon it was written that battery life is 6-8 hrs (which they seem to have corrected now). So i bought it. However on the actual product it was written as 3-4 hrs battery life. So it was misleading information on Amazon. Also sound quality was not all that great compared to some other speakers in the same price range. And it was made in china as well which i was trying to avoid. So i had to contact akai directly since Amazon wouldn't exchange it for another model or refund my money. I had to send back the speaker to akai office in Chandigarh by courier. Then they refunded back my money thankfully.

Would have give five starts, it has proper volume control on startup.When ever you start it, it starts out with very loud voice. It doesn't remember previous volume setting.

For speaker - cover or grill is not available. To be used cautiously to avoid speaker damage. within a months time, the Aux port & volume down button is not working
