Weaving Bobbins
These bobbins looked good but were not what I was wanting. They were flush on the ends. What I needed were the ones that had a 1/4” spacers on each end. That would work well in another application.

fabulous
I love having multiple so I can wind an entire project.

These bobbins have a very narrow center core & hole going thru them.
Due to the narrow hole & center, they will not fit on the spindles of many shuttles. Even Schacht shuttles with narrow pins flare every so slightly at the hinge end that these will not seat and allow the shuttle pin to swing down. Out of a whole basket of shuttles (4 different brands) they only fit on 1 of them). These aren't bad bobbins, they just have a limited group of shuttles they will work on.

Very small hole
The Bobbins are OK I guess, but they don’t fit on my winder. The hole in the middle is too small. That’s some thing I didn’t think of when purchasing.

Whoops
Probably my fault. These are useless to me as the hole in the bobbin is tiny. Yes, it will fit s shuttle, but not a winder. If I want to use them, I will have to wind by hand.

Did not fit my bobbin winder
I should have been more careful. These bobbins have a very narrow hole that does not work on my bobbin winder, so they are of little use to me.

Good but Schacht bobbins are better
I have 10 of these bobbins, and I’m not planning to buy more. Now, Ashford makes a great product, but I have no idea why the bobbins are prone to hitching the yarn as one weaves. I also have Schacht bobbins. Both the Ashford and the Schacht bobbins are wound on the same electric bobbin winder, using the same two-handed feed and control method and motion. Yet, in use, the Ashford bobbins' yarn unspooling action hitches as the shuttle skims down the race; the Schacht ones don’t. The bobbins are used in the Schacht shuttles; the shuttle gets a flick of the index and wrist, it goes down the race, and stops short because the yarn stopped unspooling. So I shifted to Schacht bobbins that don’t have that problem.

Great product, durable
These are great bobbins! The only reason I gave it four stars is because the bobbins sometimes cause some draw-in on my weaving due to not turning as well as they could. I’ve heard quills can remedy this issue though.
