SodaStream 60-Liter Carbonator-Spare Cylinder

I don't go across town everyday, so I run out of CO2 frequently. It's nice to fit the spare, and pick one up when I go that way. Mine came from Canada, and there was no shipping information nor status. Seemed to take forever to get here. But it arrived in good shape. Seemed to last as long as my current one.When I got mine, it was twice the current price, a deal. But not as good as the one at the store which is far cheaper. The exchange price is about $5, I get a coupon once a month, making my price zero (except I usually get about $30 of stuff I didn't know I needed) My experience is that it's far cheaper than buying soda at the store. With no cans or bottles. And I can make it the way I want.They say Hind-sight is 20/20, and if I had it to do over, I'd make the strip to the store, Unless it's not available locally, or the convenience is more important than saving a few bucks.

Seltzer is such a great alternative to soda, and this refill has kept my soda stream functional for over 2 months now. At first I thought the cylinder was not going to fit in the machine but there was plenty of room. Will definitely be purchasing another one of these when I tap this one out.

I ordered this spare cylinder for my aunt because the Sodastream dealer here in Korea refused to recharge the one that came with her penguin shaped dispenser. It was no fooling exactly what the doctor ordered. My aunt loves her machine and is very satisfied with all of the products she has used from Sodastream. The company that shipped this purchase (Angel something) did a great job in packaging and expediting shipment. I have read some people's criticisms about the price. My aunt does not have to worry about the price, just as she does not have to ask what the insurance costs or mileage the new car she is buying gets. Wish I could say the same for myself. In-laws are happy + wife is happy = happy pappy.

Works as expected. Very easy to install. Yummy sparkling water for a while. Woohoo! No, really... it's super. Buy it.[EDIT] Upon the first one running out I've discovered that a replacement costs about $60 on here. A much cheaper way is to swing by a local retailer like Walmart and exchange for a refilled one. About $15.

I recently purchased a sodastream fountain jet system through Groupon and purchased this as a spare from Amazon. Everything seemed to be working fine as my family through trial and error tasted a variety of soda syrup flavors with the initial bottle of co2 which has been more expensive than anticipated. This bottle has given every drop of carbonated water, alone and with flavor a nasty taste that you can't get out of your mouth. It's metallic and sour at the same time, I don't know if this is due to this spare tank, if this tank has totally ruined an expensive investment for good. I hope this is not the case, but I rely greatly on reviews for shopping online and feel it's my responsibility to warn those of you who read these as well. I hope this is a fluke, an issue with this tank which caused this to integrate a disgusting taste into filtered water. I hope with another good cleaning and a new tank this can be eliminated. I'll update my review upon learning if this tank has ruined my sodastream fountain jet for good which I've owned for approx 2 months and should not be having any issues like this so early on

I am using this spare cylinder for our Sodastream devise. The product was shipped to me on time well packaged. Should we have a need for a supplementary cylinder, I will not hesitate to order tit from the same seller. We are very pleased with the product and the service.

We are trying to save on making waste. This is great for our soda stream. We make lots of club soda from our own filtered water. Awesome product and very minimal waste.

This size is worth getting since the trial size that comes with the SodaStream unit doesn't last for more than a few bottles of carbonation. Of course the trial size allows one to try out the SodaStream unit without commitment of purchasing the larger charger. Overall the actual SodaStream unit is an OK system but the all-plastic construction gives the unit a flimsy cheap feel, that said, if you decide to keep the SodaStream unit, then it is worth ordering the 60-Liter size right away since the smaller unit that comes with the SodaStream doesn't last more than a few bottles.
