Is there any way to purchase a replacement top? Mine was shattered during delivery, and it's too late for me to return it

How can it be used as a light box/table?

Get a set of LED light strips, and a thing of 90 degree led strip connectors, and mount them under the glass. they come with sticky tape under them. if you have issues with them staying where you put them, I used 3m Round Cord Clips, which fit super snug around the led strips, and are clear, so they don't block the light.

How is the glass top secured to the table? Does it just rest on glass pads? Does the glass top shift around when adjusting posititons?

The glass top has (2) discs (left side and right side) glued to the top (rubber spacers are used as well into the frame) on the underside that when you lay the glass on the frame you use allen bolts to secure the top through the frame. Can anyone tell me if the shelf under the table will interfere with a chair, such as a drafting stool with a teardrop footrest? Thanks!

The bottom of the shelf is roughly 22" from the floor, with the feet fully screwed in to the legs. Screwing them out will add another 3/4" if you can handle a bit of wobble. The shelf itself, when fully pulled out, juts out 8" from the edge of the table.
