After fracturing the 5th metatarsal bone in my foot, I needed a rigid shoe, referred to as a post op or fracture shoe, since the clinic didn’t have my size. I ordered this shoe from Amazon, based on the description and reviews, especially reviews of other shoes. This post op shoe has a rigid bottom and grippy sole, something reviews of other brands noted as an issue. The sole grips well and does not slip even on tile or cement. The Velcro straps are easy to adjust and apply and can accommodate a wide or narrow foot. I wear a size 9 shoe and purchased a woman’s large, shown in the photo. It fits perfectly for my needs but if you need this for support after toe surgery a size larger might be needed to give more length in the toe area.The ankle strap is just a tad long for my narrow ankle but works fine and would be perfect for a large or swollen ankle and foot.I’m very happy with this shoe fit and quality, plus it was less expensive than many similar other brands.Perfect choice!

I bought this because the shoe from my doctor’s office would not tighten up or stay in place. My foot kept sliding forward.This shoe adjusted with my i jury. As the bandage thickness was reduced, I was able to make it tighter. My foot stays in place and the adjustable straps makes the support just right.

This looks exactly like the one I rec'd after foot surgery, including the manufacture. I decided to buy an extra one because I ended up getting my original one very muddy. This one may look exactly the same but it does not feel the same. Not as comfortable, not sure what the difference is. It was ok for short term but I went back to my original as soon as it dried out.

My Client uses one of these as she cannot wear regular shoes. Her old one was gross, and she got it from the podiatrist. It was much cheaper and easier to get a replacement through Amazon. Its a bit slick on tile floor. Overall satisfied with this purchase, good quailty, value and well made design. 10/10 would purchase again.

Uncomfortable to walk in. They have a flat sole and would be better if it was a bit rounder. Quality is fine but found them useless with a flat sole. It may be fine for most people but not for me.

I assumed this was a one size fits all because no size selection was offered, at the time of purchase. It was approximately size 6

I read all the bad reviews and almost didn't order this. I don't know why it has bad reviews. I find the shoe comfortable and it provides great protection for my broken toe. I've had no issues with it falling apart or being low quality. I've washed it twice by hand and it has held up fine. It's easily adjustable to your foot width. I'm so glad I ordered it. For $20 you can't beat it. I don't even want to know how much one would have cost from my doctor's office. Probably $300+.
