Excellent webcam. Sharp and crisp.
I am so impressed with this webcam. I needed a 1080p webcam to make my zoom calls far more clearer and my 2019 MacBook Air built in camera is not as sharp as I wanted it to be during FaceTime and Zoom meeting. So I goth this. It is decently value for money compared to others on the market. The build quality is excellent. You do need to download the app before you can use it. Which is very simple from their website. Once that was installed I could change details like Brightness, sharpness, contrast. Everything to get a far more better image. The camera is very easy to adjust and get the perfect view. The sound quality of the mic is really good. Especially when I have to save podcasts to upload to youtube. This is very much a plug and play camera. Just remember you need to download the app. After that it works with zoom and FaceTime as that is the reason I needed a new webcam. Can not fault

Just ok.
The wide angle distorted and the picture was not as clear as previous reviews stated. It was clear enough for basic use. If these are not major issues for you then this is suitable for normal everyday use. Price is right and instructions very easy.

Works well but remember to configure it properly
Looks cheap, but that's mainly because it's so light. High resolution, with stereo microphones - but you have to make sure your computer is set up to recognise it, otherwise you could get a default lo-res mono mode. Mine has the mounting hole for a tripod, but no tripod supplied. That turned out not to matter so much, as it sits happily ontop of a monitor, with the aid of a little Blu Tack. 90° Doesn't sound like a wide angle view, but it makes a dramatic difference from a standard cheap webcam, which only shows your head and shoulders, even sitting quite far away. This one at the same distance, shows my whole upper body, and the floor behind me. This helps a lot, both for showing more body language and hence better communication, but also enabling you to demonstrate props. It may necessitate the use of a Zoom etc backdrop, to hide all the junk now visible behind you. You have to stick the privacy flap on yourself, for some reason, but as long as you're careful to align it properly in the closed position before exposing the adhesive, there's no need to worry.

Dissapointed with light balance
Good clear picture, but I have been dissapointed with the light balance as I am facing a window and have a large amount of washout on my face skin tone unless I pull down the blind and turn on the light in the room to balance. I have tried adjusting the settings but it makes little difference. Good camera if you are not facing a window.

Do NOT buy if you have a bright room
At first I loved this camera. The sound quality from the mic is excellent. The picture is excellent. It was all going swimmingly - until the sun shone and it completely annihilated me. I was either ghostly white (see photo) or completely gone. I contacted customer service and - after several follow-ups - discovered that there is no way to adjust the light balance. So they suggested I MOVE the camera to somewhere where there is no sun!! Not an option in my limited space. So I literally have to close the blind to use it, which, in the UK on a sunny day is a punishment in itself. When the evening arrives and the room lights are on, the opposite happens and the picture is low light, low clarity and you are barely visible. So - hence the 2 stars. Virtually unusable in any other country than the UK!

Fully compatible with Windows 11 and a clear upgrade over the built-in camera on my HP computer. The video quality is noticeably better, and the microphone performs well too. Picture and sound are both solid, making it a reliable option for calls and meetings. It also has the little thingy to block the camera for privacy, which is a nice touch. For meetings, programs such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams include mute controls, adding another layer of privacy and control. Friendly suggestion: mine came with a USB-A connector. It works fine, but it would be even better if it used USB-C or came with both options. I bought it a while back, so by now it may already include USB-C. Overall, it delivers strong performance and dependable quality at a very competitive price point

I can definitely say, after hooking up this camera, that it does its job perfectly. The video quality for making video calls was perfectly clear. The audio aspect was equally impressive. The microphones seemed to pick up the voice from a couple of feet away from it (sitting at the computer desk) but wasn't overwhelmed by any background noise. Whether this is a design function utilizing noise cancellation or just a matter of it not being a very noisy environment remains to be seen. The snap down cover for privacy is about as basic as it gets. A well fitting plastic lens blocker on a hinge, but really what more do you need to achieve those results? The only complaint I would have (and it's being very very picky I suppose) is the way it "mounts" on the monitor. While it initially sat quite still and steady, as soon as I reached up to tweak the positioning it shifted all over the place. This was very easily rectified, however, with about 5 cents worth of electrical tape to hold the clip solidly to the top/back of the monitor. So in reality, it's not so much a "complaint" about it as a VERY minor inconvenience. In summary, high quality, great sound, great picture, very easy to install and use. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable camera with built in mic.

Wow! Very impressive webcam. Plucked into an empty USB port and it started working. Did a self test using Zoom app and was surprised by the crystal clear image of myself and the good voice quality. Exceeded my all expectations.
