You know how people say you can do more damage with a dull kitchen knife than a really sharp one? Well the same is true for cuticle nippers trust me. I had one from a national brand for decades and it served me faithfully and well until one day it just didn’t anymore no matter what I did. So in the interest of loyalty I bought another of the same kind only to find that it was a shadow of its former self and while it’d grab hold of a cuticle and pull on it it wouldn’t neatly trim it as in days gone by. Then came the mad purchases of numerous others until I ran across Viba Professional Gold-Plated Carbon Steel Cuticle Nippers, French Handle D501. I knew nothing of the brand but thought why not what’s one more? Well I’ll tell you the one more was the one in fact. This is a well made quality product that feels polished and solid in the hand; and it is sharp. But that’s not a bad thing it’s what makes it possible for it to do that which it does so well when handled with the care and respect such a tool deserves. It comes presented in a lovely case for safe keeping with a protective shield on its tip so as to avoid it being bumped against anything that might dull it. When you do need to trim the occasional stray cuticle or hang nail it does so neat and cleanly leaving behind no ragged edges or nicks. I’m very happy with this purchase and will be buying more to have on hand and give as gifts in short order. Whether you’re a nail professional or just an average consumer who just likes to take care of your hands this product will serve you well and meet expectations for you as it has for me.

I'd recently purchased some cuticle nippers from CVS and I unfortunately ended up hurting myself/cutting my cuticles incorrectly because the nippers were not sharp enough. So, I purchased these and I can honestly say I am SO HAPPY with them. They're very sharp so they cut the cuticle with so much ease. I highly recommend and would definitely purchase again.

They came very sharp used twice and that’s it!! Done!! Already dull and the end is bent! Very disappointed!

I love these! They are really sharp and really does the job. I only gave 4 stars because 1 out of the 4 I purchased was not as sharp as the other 3.Will definitely buy again!!!
