I initially bought two boxes of these LuxHive foam panels, and then bought a third after I put them up. At first I was concerned about the bigger price tag and the color, especially since there seems to be a lot of other options in black for much less, and I work in a private office with 4 glass walls in a shared workspace, and I thought I needed a lot of foam panels to solve the echo issues. Well, I think it's been totally worth it. My neighboring offices used the standard cheaper black foam panels, and their offices still smell of the chemicals, and even they said they couldn't be in their office for a number of days in order to air them out. Their cheaper foam panels are misshapen and just look cheap in general and still smell.Rather, I'm super impressed with these panels. The gray color is surprisingly awesome and even brightens up the room. You can tell right away that they are much higher class. As foam panels are in general, these too are fragile, so just be careful when you handle them. It seems that they are (I think) intentionally thinner b/c they pack a bigger bunch, but I'm quite happy about that instead of having to purchase 2" panels that take up more space in an already small room and which don't work as well. The packaging is really done well and 100% of the foam panels came out perfect. In the end, the echo has gone away and the office looks great, and people have been impressed with how they look and wished they had gone with this gray color as well. Yes they're more expensive, and it did concern me at first, but having nicer panels that look better, don't have that terrible smell at all, and don't have all those chemicals was definitely worth it.As a quick follow up, I reached out to the seller to ask a question about installation. The customer service was awesome too. They followed up on their own after each of my two purchases and they got back to me right away with all the info I was looking for. And in case you're wondering, I don't work for them and wasn't paid and didn't get any free product for this review.

Ours is a multi-generational family-with teenagers and grandparents- and at times the noise level in the house is quite high! I was looking for something to help fix this problem and found sound proofing foam panels.LUXHIVE caught my attention because the product's features included ODORLESS,NON-TOXIC and HEAT RESISTANT! Product safety is of primary concern to our family so finding a safe environmental soundproofing product was great!( Sure enough other soundproofing foam products I looked at contained polyurethane foamor did not identify the material. Polyurethane is noted as releasing dangerous, hazardous particles into the air.)Well more good news- it works! We installed the panels in the game room and sure enough the noise is muted- no longer blaring throughout the house!The LUXHIVE panels were very easy to install and arrange and it fits in with the décor.( I used pins as suggested for installation. We used all 12 panels.)And yes- it is Odorless and Heat -Resistant ( I checked) with a Lifetime Warranty!LUXHIVE is truly a great, unique product! My home is now a much better place and we are all enjoying it!

Falls apart and off wall easily (applied with T-pins, it was t long before they ripped away from them. Very thin. Too thin), doesn’t absorb/reflect sound even in my closet which I used them in to try to improve sound for audio recording. Waste of money. Honestly, probably not even worth using as packing filler.

There should be info included as to what double stick tape or whatever is best for adhering the sound panels to a door.Gaffers tape folded in on itself worked for just under 16 hours,whereupon all the panels fell off of the door on to the floor. Now I’m going with 3m mounting tape which is stronger, but the fragile sound panels are easy to tear undesirably during the mounting process.The cost of having to use 2 twelve- paks to sound proof a narrow door is ridiculously expensive!

Good sound absorbency. Very pleased with this product. Would recommend.

The panels are much thinner than anticipated, and one arrived much smaller than the others. No odor detected, which is a big plus. Will update review once I put them up on the wall.

After trying out other brands I decided to give Luxhive a try. The soundproofing panels are absolutely amazing with no smell. The packaging is great! My products arrived in great condition. I purchased the panels for my sons room, he’s an aspiring artist and honestly I’m tired of hearing his mumble raps. We tried other brands for the sake of my ears but none of them were up to par. After installation, I can barely hear a peep coming from my sons room. The sound proofing quality is A++++! Thank you Luxhive for saving my ears and creating such a great soundproofing product .

After getting over my initial shock, having looked into VOCs and polyurethane foam, I’m now not at all surprised that all the other “acoustic foam” on Amazon are solid gasoline working mostly through placebo effect... Yes, I tested LUXHIVE’s claims about their heat resistance and how flammable polyurethane foam is in comparison. Definitely test your polyurethane foam in a land far, far, FAR away from your house…I’ve tried the low-end foam products from Foamily, Siless, YWSHUF, XIN&LOG, and Mybecca as well as premium foam products from Auralex Acoustics and LUXHIVE. I have a sneaking suspicion that Foamily, Siless, YWSHUF, XIN&LOG, and Mybecca are all Chinese sellers on the Amazon platform which is why they don’t care about selling PU foam that isn’t any more effective at soundproofing than putting a pillow releasing VOCs into the room on the wall…It does seem true that the issue with all the other products is that they are all using the wrong material. I must say I’m impressed with LUXHIVE. They have created something truly unique, which is rare these days.
