I am so happy I ordered this
I am so happy I ordered this! I went backpacking on the north shore of Minnesota, the Bugs were thick! mosquitos and flies. Used scarf to hide from them. Thought I just liked the look of it, but very useful as well!

Poor quality. Very dissatisfied.
The item came as detailed/depicted. It seemed to be made of good quality and I was very happy with it when I opened it from the original packaging. A couple weeks after receiving the item I wore it for the FIRST time. Unfortunately, after ONE use (I wore it around my neck for 1 afternoon while I walked around) the fabric is coming loose. Strings of thread are pulling off and fraying. I am not sure if I recieved a defective scarf or if this is a normal representation of the product. Overall I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the product. I do not recommend buying this item. I hope that I can be refunded my money or sent a new scarf (if mine was just an odd defect).

Nice - But only have fringe on 2 sides
The material is nice and the design of the scarf is nice...however, there are only 2 sides of the which have fringe. This is not normal. I have purchased many Iraq and Afghanistan Shemagh's...and they always have fringe on all 4 sides. So while close...the Chinese manufacturer did not get this right.

Partially Disappointed
So, why only two stars... Here's the pluse and minusFirst and foremost, I bought this Shemagh specifically for the Polar Vortex storm we faced here in Chicago. The Real Feel / Will Chill was -54 degrees (no, that is not a typo), I use this to cover my mouth and nose. This thing did an excellent job of keeping the cold air out. So that's a huge plus, it's strong enough to withstand -54 degrees winds.Unfortunately, the negative side about this product, is, I've only use this thing twice for a total of maybe 2 hours and the black stitching is completely loose all over the Shemagh. It looks like I've had this thing for 5 or 6 years. For that reason, I can't recommend something that's going to fall apart after two uses.

So versatile.
I've preached the usefulness of handkerchiefs in survival environments. This is a much larger and higher quality cloth that serves this same purpose. It's big enough to aid with warmth in cold environments. It could also serve as a headwrap which works to protect from the sun and dust in extreme heat, or the wind and snow in the cold. It can provide shade in the sun. It can be a place to sit on the beach. It can be soaked in water and help you to keep cool. The versatility of this item is virtually limitless. I keep a shemaq with me all the time because it weighs nothing and provides so many options.

Cheap quality, buy elsewhere!!
This may look like a shemagh, but it is the lowest quality one I ever bought, held or owned. I spent 20+ yrs wearing these in the military...don't waste your money on this made in china disaster, that has a new special kind of thread count of "see through" 😂

Very Nice!!!
It's a Shemagh....hard to go wrong with one of these. But it's made nice....the color I wanted and it's big enough for the things I like it for.NOTE: It's 100% Cotton, so if you wash it in the laundry machine, I suggest you do it on Cold.I personally hand wash mine and let hang dry.

First Time User of a Shemagh
This is the first time I have purchased a Shemagh. I like the brown color and the design. It is thin enough you can actually cover your head and still see out of it. I do wish there had been some instructions inside the package. I was able to find some video's and am amazed at all of the uses you can do with this. It is definitely a bug our bag item or in your every day carry. It is getting cold now so I am looking forward to using it. There are tassels only on two sides, don't know if that is by design or not. Either way, I like it and I am going to get another one. jw
