Comparable to Pitt Artist pens.
Performance & Quality:I enjoy writing with fine print pens and, for years, my go-to has been .5/.7 pilot G-2 pens. I have, however, always been frustrated with them when writing in a planner due to the occassional smudge. These pens, on the other hand, have had no issues with this.Recently, I switched to Faber-Castell Pitt Artist pens, and while they write perfectly and never smudge on me, they're expensive and I hate to waste India ink on notes and planners and the like. I decided to give these a try because of the price and was pleasantly surprised to find that they wrote as well if not better than my Faber-Castells due to the thinner point (AND hold up to the same standard of drawing/doodling/sketching/etc.)Grip:I love a comfortable pen, but I would put these around a 4/5 in terms of comfort. The plastic casing goes all the way to the edge before curving down into the main point of the pen - meaning there's no softness to it. At the same time, the smoothness of it feels almost like acrylic, so it's not quite as annoying as most plastic cased pens - enough so that I don't really notice it when writing with them for extended periods of time. The 4/5 is due to a lack of grip + exceptional quality without one. 👌Ink:Nice solid black line - incredibly smooth and quick drying.Extra Bits:The pen cap has a little cap on top of it that comes off if you press your nail against the edge of it and the plastic beneath. It easily snaps back into place and, as someone who often fidgety when thinking and writing, it provides a nice little stimulation. I know it wasn't intended that way, but I like that this little function draws me to it more than the long-lip piece of the cap (I almost always break those off from fidgeting). The little cap design actually keeps me fixated on itself so I haven't broken a single pen cap which has been refreshing. Seems silly, but has been a game changer for me.Appearance:Basic in looks, clear in casing color, but something about the characters printed on the tag and the lack of English on the casing makes it feel a bit aesthetic in a plain/simple/satisfying way.

great pens
I love how delicate these pens are. They are perfect for notes on thin paper (like the Bible) or even drawing, sketching, and watercolor. They don’t bleed. These aren’t best for thick lines or people who put a ton of pressure on paper when writing or drawing. They are smooth. Will order more when the ink runs out of mine and did order some for presents for others.

Fantastic pens for the price!
These pens are extremely high-quality for drawing small precise lines. I actually prefer these to a lot of other expensive “art drawing pens.” They are a fantastic alternative to the Micron pens for drawing small precise lines. I have purchased the black as well as the blue. I wish they made about 20 colors!

My new fav!!
These pens are the best needle point type pen I've used. I'm loving them. I'm going to need more soon because I keep sharing them with my friends! LOL I love how smooth they write, how vibrant the ink is, and how nice it looks on my planner layouts.

Good writing but ink runs out fairly quickly.
I really like a fine line writing instrument and this one meets that criteria. I did a controlled test and was able to write 32 pages in my personal journal before the ink ran out. That was 26 lines on the notebook paper page with my words close spaced. I found the pen comfortable to hold and the ink did not skip nor bleed through. I have been using this model for a couple of years and will be ordering more.

Great!!
I love these pens, the .35 tip is excellent. It doesn’t tear through paper and writes with very bold color. I have purchased these three times and I enjoy them. they’re a great value and a great pen. and will re-purchase again.

I’m so in love with these pens
I’m so incredibly happy that I found this box of pens. I’ve been working on improving handwriting and drawing using fine and ultrafine pens and this set will keep me coming back for more. My Zentangles have such incredible fine lines and detail now

Good first impressions, but paper type is important
Update: Moved from 4 stars to 3 stars after a month of use. The quality of the pens vary considerably from unit to unit. The first one was fine. The second one is scratchy with lots of ink dropouts. I've changed papers with different textures but the problem is persistent. These are fairly decent pens. I got through 2-3 pens a month writing all my notes and drawings so I need pens that write smoothly and get through the entire ink reservoir without drying out. So far, these pens seem quite decent with some exceptions.First, they are comfortable and not too heavy (though I do prefer a heavier pen). Ink flow is pretty good and they leave solid black lines when writing. It is not as forgiving in the angle, however, and deviating too far from about 65-70 degrees caused some dropouts. Because of this, they are not quite suitable for quick sketches. Paper choice is also important. They work quite well with regular college notebooks and delivered good ink flow. On higher rag papers they tended to bite (which is expected because of the .35mm tip).Overall I'm satisfied with these, assuming I can use up all the ink in each pen. The cost is very good and considerably less expensive than my preferred Pilot Hi-Tec Maica and Pilot Juice 2 pens.
