This does not have remote control. Not sure why that is one of the review points. Otherwise a good buy. I like how when on in the daylight you can't see the lights. I don't remember it saying if they only turn on at night but when plugged in the lights only showed when really dark outside. Even at dawn if there was still some light outside I would not see them on. They have multiple flashing light settings

Was looking for a battery-operated Christmas lights and found this one within my price range. Thankfully, the lights and the auto-timer are working well when I received them. The only problem I encountered was the battery box would sometimes get loose so the lights would flicker but I just tightened it up and it's working well again.

I have a 4 to 5 foot diameter Christmas wreath that hangs high over our garage. This year my wife said, after 10 years of not having lights, that she would like to have lights on the wreath.So, I went to Amazon to find a solution. I was looking for lights that were:1) battery powered2) had a timer3) had multi-colored lightsI found Toodour Battery Christmas Lights in a strand of 200 that are led lights, as well. Initially, I was a little skeptical, because my wife wanted traditional lights, and then for me to run an extension through the garage roof to control the on and off function, but this seemed so much easier that I had to buy them.Well, let me tell you.... Not only do they deliver on their promises, but my wife loves them. The led lights are bright. The six hour on and then 18 hours off timer works perfectly. And the number of options available for the lights is a Christmas joy.If I could give Toodour Battery Christmas Lights six stars, I would!

Worked well while it lasted but stopped working after 1 month. Lots of water intrusion in the bulbs. Had to change batteries after about 3 weeks on the 6 hour timer function.Update* Seller reached out to replace the order. Great customer service and I would buy from them again.

We purchased 11 sets of these lights to use outside. They are bright and the various functions are awesome. However, even the best batteries don’t last more than a week or so. That becomes extremely expensive to have to continually replace batteries! They do not come with a remote control, which would have been very helpful in controlling how many hours they are on to save battery life. If you plan to use these once in a while, I would recommend them. However, if you plan to use them daily, I would suggest staying with the plug in lights so you have better control and don’t have to stand in rain or snow to manually turn them off to save battery life. Also, the timer function initially worked well for a few days. Then, they started turning themselves on an hour earlier than the day before. They are a great idea but need some work if you plan to use them outside as part of your holiday decor.

Bought these to put on posts on my front porch. Loved them at first — and then after a few weeks they got so dim that I had to replace the batteries. After that they did fine for a few more weeks and then one of the strands dimmed again. This didn’t make sense since I put batteries from the same pack in both strands — why would one set be ok and the other not?I guess I’ll see how they do next season.

I love the hook for the battery pack. The only reason that I rate brightness a 4 star is that the lights are small .....but I like them in color and white well enough to have ordered 4 strings, and I would order them again. The choices for light patterns are fun as well as steady on.

I got the 2 boxes of lights . I opened the boxes and immediately put the 4 batteries in each battery housing . I went through the 8 phase sequence with the first set and they worked well . Here’s why I gave this a 3 star rating . Not Amazon’s fault ! The second set would not work . So I needed to call Amazon to report the issue and get a replacement set .

Might work properly in a dry and warm climate…but this not the case here in Vancouver. Installed four days ago…it did work for a day. (Initial review)Update: Without requesting it, the company sent me a new unit. It was received a few days ago and it is, so far, working properly. I must admit, I am quite impressed by their diligence and their level of service to their customers.I will most likely buy a second set next Christmas. These lights lasted over a month with four alkaline batteries…quite impressive.

The lighting I’ve been striving for, for years! I didn’t like the remotes but we set the sequence up on the hard wired control and it worked just fine. So many options in the colors and the type of lights, eg flashing, fading etc. we put ONE strand of these lights on and three strands of our older lights on a 7’ tree. Outstanding brightness for such tiny lights. Not disappointed!

As says my headline, it's could be brighter, but that's OK.It will easily make a week or 2 on one set of batteries (I use 2.5A rechargeable ones) depending on the program. Also, the 6-hour automatic ON-OFF timing is perfect, in our case using it from 4 PM till 10 PM.I didn't measure it but I suspect it's nowhere near the length it's supposed to be, rather it's more like 21 Ft than 21 meters. But since it still fit our needs, I won't complain.I am used to the chinese (too often) exagerating what their products are supposed to do.

The media could not be loaded.  These are very practical outdoor lights for people who don't have a plug or electrical outlet, It works on battery so basically it runs for 9 hours Turns itself off and stays off for 17 hours and then come back on the same time you turned it on great idea I recommend

Despite all the bad reviews, I thought these were great! Used both sets outside for Halloween. One in our tree and one followed our brick wall up to the house. Plenty length, a bunch of different light settings, and they switch off after nine hours-ish. Great price point!
