Great bed!
Great dog bed. Our dog loves it and sleeps on it every night! Love the sides that make him think he's on the couch and not a dog bed.

Good quality material. Needs more pad too thi
Bed bottom is super thin. Appearance in picture looked a lot thicker. Good quality material but not enough cushion for Xtra LG dogs

Doggie Heaven On The Floor
I was hesitant to pay this price for a dog bed but after seeing the over priced junk in local pet stores and big box places I decided to chance it. It's so great that I decided to change our bed mattress for similar composition material based on the feel, lack of depressions in the base and the way our 23 lb mixed breed uses it. He will fully stretch out or sometimes use the rounded "walls" to rest his head or lean against. The only thing is that the manufacturer should have made and included a fleece type of cover that could have been removed for washing. Perhaps something could be secured using velcro. A good seamstress/tailor probably could make a slip cover or a piece that could be velcroed to the floor of the dog bed . If you do not cover this one then no mater how clean your animal is some of the dirt from fur or body oils or slobber will start to stain it. This started to become noticeable to us after only a few days of use. Then you would have to hand scrub it and set it aside to dry. The problem was solved by simply laying down a big towel and pieces of fleece on top that can be washed as needed. It's an attractive item and it's too bad that it has to be covered but it's a lot easier than a weekly washing by hand. Overall, we're highly satisfied.

washed first time and would not fit again
I have purchased several Beasley's couch dog beds over the years and have been VERY pleased. But this one, maybe it is the fabric, but it is awful. It was so small after the first wash I could hardly get it back together. My dog has skin allergies and needs weekly baths so this bed is a pain. If I had not washed it before I knew this I would have returned it for another bed of a different fabric. I still reccomend Beasley bed products just not this particular bed.

Great bed, just make sure you check the measurments and remember there's a cushion!
This is our second bed we've bought from this company for our 60lb Austrailian/German Shepherd. He loves them both, but the first bed we bought was an XL and he had a ton of leg room. We decided to try a large this time and, while he fits in it, he doesn't get to spread out like he did on the XL. I'll post photos of both the L and XL beds with our dog on them so you can see the difference in size and see which one you like better! I do wish you could pick your own design of bed, but both models we've received have been good looking. They are good quality and easy to clean too. You just zip the cushions out and toss them in the wash. It took 21 days from the day I ordered to the day the bed arrive, but it is well worth the wait in my opinion because having these beds keeps the dog off our couches. Just make sure you check the measurments and remember there's about a 5 inch wide cushion that takes up the bed area on 3 sides!

I would sleep in it if I could!
This bed rocks! It is made with quality fabric (corduroy and fleece)that feel good and look good. It is not an eyesore in my house. I had to lay in the bed to pursade my dog to try it out and my first thought was wow! It is so soft and it has great cushion. I would sleep in it if I could.I purchased this dog bed because my dog would never lay on the round pads or bean bag type. She would grab them and tear them up. At first she tried to do this with the Beasley bed but it was too durable and I believe the bolsters around the side really help. Now she loves it. She goes right to it and curls up. She really enjoys having a place to put her head. The only thing is that it is still not large enough for her to totally spread out (she's a big dog) I would like to have a larger size. But this will do as she just curls up.

Long legs fit on depth of bed.
Even though our standard poodle only weighs 58 pounds, he has very long legs. This bed is perfect due to the depth that allows for hIs legs to fit on the bed when he's sprawled out. he can lay with his back against the back of the couch-bed with his legs stretched out toward the front and his legs are still on the bed and not falling off onto the floor. It is large and takes up acreage in our bedroom, but is worth it for him to have a comfortable bed that fits.I have found it easy to take apart for cleaning. Easy to put back together too.We are very happy with this bed and would purchase it again.

Old Dogs Can Like New Beds
Our 10-year-old Australian Shepherd used to like to hop up on the sofa, resting his chin on the armrest for support. His arthritis makes it more difficult for him to get up there, and to be honest, I'm tired of all the dog hair. The Beasley's Couch Dog Bed is perfect for Calvin. He rests his chin on the edges, and snuggles up against the sides. He loves it. The quality of the bed also ranks very high. Nice fabric, and sufficient support. Great choice for us.
