The light has no memory which means that when you turn it off with the remote and back on again it will come back on at a random dim setting and colour temperature. Having contacted the seller, they have confirmed this is the case and fobbed me off by telling me that most fan lights are like this.This renders the item useless to me.Upon requesting a return, the seller told me it’s too complicated and expensive to send it back to China and offered me a 30% discount. Pointless since the item is not fit for purpose.Further to this, when the light is off, it is still on flickering very dimly. The item is not CE marked and does not contain wiring appropriate to the UK.The sellers refusal to approve a return will result in me having to raise an A to Z claim with Amazon.Nice design with very poor implementation.

Simple to fit , excellent light with 3 different Hades of white and the fan is quiet on all 3 speed settings . Another bonus is there is no "wobble" when the fan is running , unlike the 5 bladed fan it replaced .I think I will be fitting them in the bedrooms .The remote is simple to use and button functions well marked .

The light is very bright on full but dimmable with different tones the fan probably less noisy than a floor mounted and the fan cover oscilates. The remote did not come with a battery but I got one in a local hardware store size MN21. I was worried about installing but the mounting bracket I managed to get the four screws into my joist the different screw hole options helped. I am not an electrician so left my existing rose in place and ran the drop down wire into the unit. Just then a connection block two wires to join. Pleased with it so far.

Got refund fan not working also not value for money coloured bottom very cheap looking light bulb ment to last never needs replacement just gave of loud crack now light don’t work fit for dust bin

Overall I’m quite impressed. Although up close it looks quite cheap, when it’s on ur ceiling it doesn’t and the materials make it relatively lightweight. No rattling noise as it secures really well to the ceiling and the fan is actually more powerful than expected without too much noise. I am so relieved the light is dimmable as the brightest level is insanely bright!! And it’s good that the hue of the light can be altered. My only complaints would be that when turning back on with the remote, the previous settings are not saved and u then need to alter everything back to the way u had it. Also the app doesn’t work at all which is really disappointing as it looks like u can save a number of modes which wouldn’t mean having to alter the colour, intensity and fan everytime- I’d just press whatever ‘mode u wanted’

Easy to install. Keeps room cool. Only noisy on high speed. Good quality. Would recommend to anyone.
