Quality at Low Cost
This is a really high quality piece that cooks well and evenly, and looks great on the table top. We have a few pricier versions, but this stands up to anything we have at 1/4 of the cost. It's a really nice size for roasting and the enamel makes it easy to clean even tough and baked on food releases easily with a quick soak. The red is really bright and true to pictures.

Nice
Nice and a nice size. Came with a few flaws in the enamel but I was too lazy to send it back. Cooks food well, that is it browns well, and cleans up easily.

It's heavy but very good quality and so easy to clean
I bought this dish to make a new recipe by Martha Stewart. The recipe was for an herb roasted chicken. It was DELICIOUS! I have been making this recipe in an aluminum 9 x 13, but there is a difference in flavor and quality of cooked vegetables after using this castiron dish. It's heavy but very good quality and so easy to clean. I love this dish and the color is beautiful :)

It had good weight, solid and attractive
I was excited upon arrival. It had good weight, solid and attractive. I was looking for something more durable and with even cooking. After the second time of cooking, I was cleaning it and noticed 3 chips from the inside. So disappointed. I guess you get what you pay for. I have a dutch oven (lodge) and it cost over 100 dollars and is still in use. Learned my lesson and to always pay the little extra for the quality.

Confusing use and care pamphlet
I just received this 'casserole' dish. The warning on the front of the brochure clearly states it can NOT be used in the dishwasher, for food storage or in the oven.I can understand not using it in the dishwasher. If you can't store food or cook food in it, what can you use it for?

Poor Quality Control
Large bubble through the enamel on the bottom of the pan. Enamel flaked off with finger. Sent back for refund.

Gorgeous and functional
I love this lasagna/roasting pan. I love cooking in enameled cast iron -- better than the chemically feel and poor performance of "non-stick" coating -- and this pan really does a nice job. It's not too heavy (one downside of many cast iron roasting pans), and the handles are very ergonomically sound, at least in my hands. And, it cleans like a dream. So, I find the pan easy to work with. I also like the light-colored inside of the pan -- makes it easy to see how things are coming along (i.e., browning). And this pan is just truly gorgeous to look at! A nice shape, beautiful red, and the black rim offsets the red and the white well. This has been one of my favorite kitchen purchases.

It was wonderful. I did not think this pan was large ...
I cooked a 10 lb roast for Christmas in this roaster pan using the 5 times lbs method at 500 degrees and then shutting of the oven and leaving the roast in for 2 hours. It was wonderful. I did not think this pan was large enough for 10 pounds it was with room for more, great price happy I bought it.
