It does not have the pressure sensitivity that some Apple specific programs might incorporate for the newest Apple Pencil, nor can you open your iPad from screen lock into a writing or coloring screen. So I have a 2018 11" iPad pro and an official Apple Pencil, but wanted something that i didn't have to worry about losing. So I saw this one and decided to try it.My first couple points will be neutral:•It's almost identical in size, shape and look of the official Pencil as you can see in the photos. ▪︎it's even magnetic to attach to the side of the screen•To turn it on, you tap the "butt" of it; there's no physical button, you just tap it. (More on this below)Pros:•USB C! This is amazing, because I feel like most cheaper 3rd party accessories use micro USB, but the iPad uses type C, so I don't even need to use an extra cord.•It has a small indicator light that is blue when in use and red when charging•It's lighter than the Pencil, yet still solid construction and doesn't feel flimsy.•It doesn't require Bluetooth pairing, but just automatically starts working on the screen.Cons:•Somehow, despite the tip being roughly the same size, this thing is LOUD! I suppose this is personal preference, but it's too loud for me.•Because the power "button" is just capacitive and not clicky, I feel like it's a little too easy to turn off and on if you're fidgety.*It's not pressure sensitive and just registers as a "hard" push, similar to if you were just using your finger.As a disclaimer, I received this stylus for free upon review. I can't say enough about this pen. I bought my ipad this November once my laptop stopped working and I use the ipad to take notes. I was just using my boyfriend's apple pencil while waiting to find a good deal for myself. However, the price for apple pencil was ridiculously high so I decided to give stylus a try and oh how much I love it. I actually love this more than the apple pen. The "eraser" back that it has had made it so easy to scroll. I was worried when I saw the reviews about how it scratches the screen so I waited to use it properly before posting my review and I can say for sure that I didn't have any issues with that. I was ready to invest on a screen protector when I read the other reviews but I have used it every single day for weeks now and havent seen any sign of scratches. I absolutely love this stylus! It has helped me take notes easily and make my life so much easier. If you have an ipad and want to buy an apple pen or well just a stylus, this is definitely the way to go. For less than half the price for an apple pen, this stylus is an absolute steal for its price!Update: I dropped the pen on a soft carpet but I guess it landed wierdly so the nib broke. I couldnt change the nib myself so I had to replace the product but it was really easy to contact the seller and get it replaced. I will remember to put the rubber cap on every time I take it out of the case from now on.

I used this for an in-between while waiting for my Apple Pencil to arrive. After using both, I think I am much happier with the Apple Pencil (it's thinner and doesn't need to charge off USB). But, this stylus is GREAT for the value and instead of returning it as planned I am keeping it to have a backup. It turns on/off by touch on the 'eraser' end, and I realized I was turning it off by it brushing against my chest while using it up close. Very easy to accidentally do. The charge is OK, fine for a day, but it will get less accurate as the battery dies.The best part about using a stylus is it's WAY more comfortable for my hand than using touch. Overall much better for your wrist and no matter what stylus you go with you will more easily be able to use your smartphone or tablet controls without causing damage to your hand/wrist.

the box is sealed, well packaged. every thing I dreamed of, this is the first stylus that I have used that feels like a pencil and works to the same way. It's so easy to use, easy to set up, no need to download extra softwares. Just touch and go. Even my 3 years old niece can just it to open her Favorite youtube channel without issues. It responds quickly and much more accurate than using my own figures. The only regret is that i did not get it sooner. I am considering buying more as Christmas gift for friends.

We use iPads at my school for all of our students. Needed something that works and is simple. These styluses check both of those boxes for sure. They work out of the box, no pairing, just touch and go. Palm recognition is perfect for kids. Way easier to write with your hand resting on the surface rather than having your hand hover over the iPads. I bought one as test, worked perfectly so I ordered 60 more for all my students. Zero complaints and makes the work so much easier. Also a lot cheaper compared to paying apple $140 per apple pencil. If 60 work for me, one will work for you.

I was surprisingly happy when I open the box took it out the pen and found out it was charged which was an added bonus, I tried it right away a little tricky because I’m used to drawing on huion Kamvas 13 Graphic Display tablet, it was little slippery on iPad screen but I must say it’s nice to not have to Bring out my art tablet all the time because it is sometimes a hassle so it’s nice that I can just pull out my iPad when I’m camping or other places.

I recently just bought this pen for my IPAD and let’s just say it’s definitely well worth the money. I was interested in the “apple pen” for quite a while, but I didn’t want to spend that much money on it. This stylus pen is a great dupe to the apple pen, and the overall Quality is great.I also just want to add that the packaging was fantastic. I tend to buy things that have nice packaging, and this stylus pen, was packaged beautifully.This is a product I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Very easy to turn on and off and I like the grip of it and it lasts me for the whole day! The tip wore out pretty quickly don't know if it's from my paper screen protector, but luckily another replacement comes with the pen!! Overall I am very happy about the pen for the price I paid :)
