They really did a good job mastering this album for vinyl, and it is an enormous improvement over the CD. You will not be dissapointed! The BEST Sounding Absolution Out There!
This is an amazing album music wise, but that isn't what this review is about. If you've listened to all of Muse's albums on digital/CD format, then you are probably aware that they have had great production on all their albums, except this one. For me, the digital format is overproduced, and a lost cause in the loudness war. However I was overjoyed when I heard this album on vinyl for the first time. They really did a good job mastering this album for vinyl, and it is an enormous improvement over the CD. You will not be dissapointed!

this one says USA version, but it's really the European version. Either way, it's an amazing album by MUSE.

Bought it on Vinyl
You can read the other reviews if you want to hear how AMAZING Muse is. I'm going to skip that and just talk about my purchase. I went for the vinyl pressing and couldn't be happier. It came in 180gram audiophile quality with a book-style disc jacket. The lyrics to each song are printed artistically on the inner pages of the jacket.

One of my favorite albums ever
One of my favorite albums ever. An interesting time in Muse's career, after plug in baby, but before Knights of Cydonia. They sound tight, but not quite so expansive. I adore it.

Great album - if you don't have it, why not?
The vinyl is a improvement over the CD and way better than any lossy formats. Good quality of vinyl and nice inserts. My 1st copy had a harsh scratching sound at the start of track 9 Blackout . I do have a good turntable & cartridge and have had no problem with any other of the Muse vinyl. This is why I only give 4 stars (it is a 5 star album). amazon where great in getting me a new copy but it was the same and I just gave up. I figured there must be a bad batch. I can live with this as it is such a good album.

This was my 2nd Muse album on cd back in 2006ish after getting Blackholes. Again it's my 2nd Muse vinyl and again 3rd cd was Origin and par for the course again. Absolution is a no skip album for me. Great album

Todos lo vinyles de MUSE suenan muy bien y la calidad es superior, pero creo que este es el que mejor suena de todos, con este completé mi colección y toda la compré aquí en Amazon, la experiencia sónica de Hysteria es una locura en vinyl. Vívelo !!!

CDの方が技術的には優れているのだと思いますが、そこはあえてのレコード。 自分の環境では心なしか、CDよりも迫力ある音に聞こえます。非常にオススメです。
