Coin Purse or Change Purse

I used to think coin purses were just a girl thing. Then I saw the Nutnfancy Youtube video where he went through is daily carry gear, and yes, a coin purse was one of the items.His rationale, was that he wanted his coins organized and accessible. One of my big beefs is fumbling around for coins loose in a pocket. Either they work out (particularly in a suit pocket or dockers, or sit deep in the pocket and you have dig them out, not nice when you also carry other stuff in there, like a Swiss Army pocketknife.Now, the coins don't dig into the scales of the Swiss Army Knife, and when I need coins I have them, all of them, easily accessible and I can see them, rather than digging around by feel and fishing out a few at a time.Really, you can save about a minute or so at the checkout counter, when paying for something with exact change.As for the coin purse itself, its soft, leather I guess, works well. Has not come open so far in my pocket. Given a modest cost, this is a nice upgrade for your EDC (Every Day Carry) gear and makes life just a little bit nicer.

Lovely little change purse. The leather is soft and thin. The stiching is strong. There is a key ring that can be drawn outside so keys can be attached. It holds several credit cards and some cash folded over nicely without adding bulk to your pocket. I don't like to carry an obvious wallet or purse because I've had these stolen before. This is a nice alternative. I've carried my cards loose in my pocket but then the magnetic strips get worn quicker. I think this is a nice alternative.ADD: I bought the brown purse first, it is sturdy and just as stated above. I then bought the BLACK for my daughter. Is not the same purse. The zipper doesn't keep the teeth together and now is permanently open. The size is slightly larger than the BROWN also. There is obviously some difference in makers of each color of this item. BEWARE! My original rating was a 5 for the BROWN, the BLACK I would give a zero to since it is useless now. Thus my change to a 4 STAR

its a little coin purse. I bought it to replace a lost leather pouch that I carried cough drops and coins in. The material this is made from is not leather, some synthetic, no not as nice. It does have two compartments so now I can separate my coins and my cough drops. So its fine. The hardest part of this purchase was discovering the term "coin purse" for what I wanted to replace, which I referred to as a "small pouch."

After I lost the last of my small change holders, I bought this one without realizing how large it is. Nonetheless, it has several pockets for coins, keys, etc. Maybe it will prove more difficult to lose one of this size. When I first opened the package, the smell of leather was strong and overwhelming . After a few days of airing the smell has abated.

I just can't win with change purses, they all leak coins. I quit using this purse after three months because the zipper kept opening. Hey would you keep a pair of trousers that had the same problem? At least this type doesn't have that uncomfortable metal top frame that snap purses do. I guess coin purses will be around as long as they have a market. I just quit carrying coins. I put them in a coffee can at night.

This is NOT a mans coin purse as advertised. Small, barely able to fit cards into this thing. Made of soft palish looking blue color instead of black like I ordered. Completely a misfire on Amazon's part.

Working in a secured facility I have to constantly empty out my pockets whenever I go in and out of the building. Accumulating change has been a problem and I had used a few small plastic bags. They eventually wear out quickly so I hunted down this coin purse.So far it works great. We'll see how the stitching holds up.

I ordered the brown one and received it a little quicker than I thought I would. The color is not the same as the picture and actually has a bit of a bronze shimmer to it. The texture is nice and soft. All and all I will keep it because it is not worth my time to return it and it will serve its purpose.
