KeystoneReplacement Ballast KTEB-432RIS-1-TP-SL Value Pack - (2 Ballast Pack)

I was extremely happy to get this in a couple days, and the part worked. I could not find a Keystone ballast locally, so I ordered this one online (Amazon) to replace a KTEB-432RIS-1-TP, which is no longer available. This one has all the blue, red, and yellow wires coming out of one end, and black and white wires coming out the other end, which is the main difference, besides being slimmer. The SL stands for slimmer. I was able to cut out the old ballast and remove it quite easily (after turning off the power at the main box of course). This new ballast fit perfectly in the same position as the old ballast and the wires were long enough to hook up to the fixture. I actually had to shorten them some, but that's fine. Anyway, after installing the new ballast and getting everything back together and turning the main power back on and flipping the switch, I had light. I'm happy to have my kitchen lighting working once again. And I'm glad to have the extra ballast when and if this one I just installed should go out before replacing the fixture someday. I really didn't want to replace the entire fixture at this time, so I am glad this solution worked. It was much easier and less expensive than replacing the entire fixture. The fixture I have is great and it's actually not easy to find one that is similar.

Your ballast works great! To make replacement easy I've done it on the kitchen table. I took down the old ballast, complete with the wiring harness and connectors from the overhead light fixture (four T8 tubes), put the old connectors on new harness and then slide in the old connectors and attached new ballast overhead. Thanks for a great product!

Good price for quality product

Beware...description says 2 but only got 1 ballast. I will be returning this product as it is expensive for the price of 1 ballast.
