A good read
If you have taken Circuit Analysis it is a good review. Many cobwebs were cleaned. If you have not, you will need to do the excercises provided to be able to follow. The math is simple algebra to solve Voltage and Current equations, however, it would be helpful if you had a Physics class and some Differential equations. Enjoyed the review and didn't realize how much I had forgotten.

A good refresher text
A number of analysis techniques are well explained. Although, there are several typos in discussion of three phase voltage and current that could be misleading.

Its the Cliff Notes of circuit analysis
Great book with short and to the point descriptions of the elements and formulas used in circuit analysis. This book covers the methods (theorems) and formulas only. It does not go into the application of circuit elements. DC is straight forward but AC circuits get into advanced math using derivatives, etc.

Does not explain things in much detail
Explanations and examples feel rushed and incomplete. For example, some equations are left unsolved, with the statement "this should be easy to solve".Some terms are introduced out of nowhere (i.e. Cramer's rule - what is that?).It really isn't for "complete idiots" if it expects a basic knowledge of calculus and intermediate skill with algebra.

Quick and to the point.
Fast way to refresh known ideas or a simple way to acquire new knowledge and understanding. Try it you'll like it

Great book!
A book for beginners and someone who completed a course in electronics or circuit analysis. Easy to read.

Good book, well-written and well worth the price!!
I bought this as a supplement to the online edx.org course on Circuits and Electronics - but really Aganth Agarwals's book is better. However, as a standalone book, it's actually pretty good because it gives you all the basics and fundamentals that you'd need to know in a well-written and very readable book. Fair play to author David Smith!!

good for the money
The book was only 3 quid so I thought “why not?” I wasn’t expecting much. The content is reasonable, but i will warn you that if you dont know calculus and differential equations, a lot of the content is going to go over your head.
