REMAN ALTERNATOR (2100580)

The unit works great and I no longer have to deal with the terrible bearing noise from the original unit (still worked, but bearing noise at 176K miles). Not easy to install. I replaced the original power steering pump at the same time due to its age, it was starting to leak at one of the joints and the reservoir had to be moved for alternator removal/install. Getting the unit out takes some maneuvering, but isn't too hard. Installation is a bit of a bear. Make sure the bushing in the upper joint is all the way in. Mine was not in far enough. When it wouldn't go in I pulled it back out and compared the spacing to the original and had to tap the bushing with a hammer to make the width the same. After this it went in without too much force required.

Delivered late! Product came in undamaged. It came in a Desnso [old] box but looks like they did a good job with the remanufacturing. Installation wasn’t too bad! Fits my 2005 Pilot AWD perfectly. Seems to be producing the right voltage. Driven ~450 miles with the new unit without any issue.Will update my review once o have driven couple of thousands miles!

Bought this back in June 2022, now it is April 2023!! today I see smoke coming out of the alternator!!!Go with some other new brand with extra cost!!!

Perfect fit and replacement for the Acura TL '06! Definitely go with Denso remanufactured instead of the others. The original Denso alternator lasted 125K miles on my car. The battery warning indicator popped up one day and after some load testing, found out that the alternator went bad. I bought this Denso remanufactured alternator (shipped within 2 days!) and replaced it within ~2 hours (first time doing it). At least for the Acura Tl 3g model, you can remove the passenger side radiator fan for access. After removing the bottom bolt of the alternator, remember to wiggle it out and pull it up and down to remove the alternator. Install the new alternator and voila! The charging system is back on track!

Easy to fit, and very good product.

I'm an average guy and know just enough to be a shade tree mechanic. After watching YouTube and reading the Haynes instructions this job took me 4 to 5 hours to complete on my 2007 Honda Ridgeline. My truck had 100k miles so I chose to replace the original alternator. I didn't wait for the old one to go bad and strand me somewhere. The new alternator is OEM and it works great.

I will update my review thru the liferime of the alternator. My previous store bought aftermarket alternator (O'Reilly Ultima, brand new, not refurbished) was intermittently failing, outputting barely 14V at cold engine to start with. After 3x replacements on the warranty last 9 months - I decided to try out this one and right out of the gate it's 14.4 v at idle speed. Hopefully it lasts!

Damaged/broken - from 1 star to 4 star. Lost 1 star for inconvenience.See photosUPDATE: spoke to customer service and resolved the issue. Very happy with the out come. Yes it looks like new. But it has a remanufactured sticker on it. Still cheaper than going to Acura. Took about 2 hours on my 2009 max

Pulled out a terrible Wilson Alternator that only made 32,000 kilometers or 10,000 miles. Denso makes Honda's Alternators.Fits like Factory. No issues. I expect 300,000 kilometers or 185,000 Miles out of this alternator. Never put any other alternator in a Honda but Denso. Great Purchase.

After careful inspection this alternator appears new. I could not find any evidence of re-manufactured anything. Not sure if they do such a good job refurbishing the old parts, or it is new indeed, but it is indistinguishable from a new alternator made by Denso. Installed, checked the voltage, so far so good 14.2V. Let's see how long it will last (the original lasted 10-11 years then shorted and caused some smoke and other troubles).30k miles later, still works fine.
