Vostrostone 5023273 Tablet Case for Dragon Touch E97 9.7-Inch Tablet

This case really is thin. It and my tablet fit easily in my 10" messenger-style tote bag with a little room to spare -- exactly what I was looking for. But though the case is thin it's not flimsy. It looks like it should last a good long time under regular use. One point of clarification, though: the description on the web site says the case is made of "Premium quality PU leather with microfiber interior". I'm not sure what "PU" is short for (it doesn't look like leather to me), but I suppose it's an apt description of the front cover. In contrast, back is hard plastic, which I think is actually better. It snaps onto the tablet, fits like a glove, and add protection at all of the critical points (e.g., corners). The web site description is accurate about unencumbered access to the controls, mic, camera, audio port and USB port. The only exception is that you'll have to remove the case to access the SIM and micro SD slots.As the web site description also indicates, the front cover folds up to use as a stand in two different orientations, one more vertical and the other more horizontal. In the more vertical orientation the power and volume controls are at the top of the tablet, but in the more horizontal orientation they're at the bottom. Not a huge deal I suppose, but something to be noted. All in all I really like this case. I was looking for something thin and unobtrusive that would provide extra protection in my tote bag, and this fits the bill perfectly. The fact that it's an attractive case that looks like it's rugged enough to stand up to regular use is an added bonus. I looked around for quite a while before I bought this case, and I think it stands head and shoulders above anything else I looked at. I would not hesitate to recommend this case to my friends -- provided they too own a DT E97 tablet, of course.UPDATE: I just discovered that this case fits the iPad Air (and thus, presumably, the iPad Air 2) like a glove. All of the controls, microphone and speakers, remain available on the iPad. It's as if the case was made for the iPad Air. Pretty cool. Of course, that also means that many, if not most, of the cases designed for the iPad Air also fit the DT E97 tablet. One that I have tested is the NewTrent case and keyboard (which is an excellent, versatile case with an excellent keyboard). I had to make a slight modification to the case, though, because there is a strip of plastic that interferes with access to the power switch and volume rockers on the E97 tablet. I solved the problem by removing it with a pair of wire cutters. You couldn't tell that anything was different unless you were told about it, and my slight modification didn't affect the fit or function of the case at all. I still very much like the KuGi case advertised here. It's slender and attractive and fits the E97 perfectly. But I'm also thrilled to be able to use either case with either tablet at will.

This is a nice case but it is somewhat thin. It does add a significant layer of protection to your tablet and I like how it feels but I've opted for a thicker case personally. It is very useful but keep in mind it is SUPER-THIN as per the name.

Bought this to secure my DT and I really like how it fits snuggly to the tab and it's not bulky at all. Makes my tab looks really nice, highly recommend.

Case works well, still need to be careful though, but it fits nice, perfect line up with tablet. Case not designed for protection for rough handl
