I bought this case for my Flip 6 and it fits perfectly. It has a small area at one end for a cable and charger as well. I am very happy with it.

Is this really quakeproof?

I have the dropped the case on the floor (with the speaker inside) and had no issues with the device.

The Charge Essential is 2.5 x 2.5 x 10 and, the Charge 5 is 3 x 3 x 7. There is extra headroom for the charger and a 3.5mm audio cable.
