I have really thick curly hair so regular clips, even some that say they are for thick hair, won’t close around my thick hair and stay closed. FINALLY a hair clip that will hold all of this kinky hair! It stays closed and in place! It’s a miracle!!

I have a good deal of hair, not exceptionally thick but a lot of it. I would say my pony tail is the diameter of a quarter. This clip only securely holds it if it's not super clean and combed smooth. It's actually good to put in when still wet and a tad tangled. It would expand a bit to hold tons of thick hair but certainly could not stay in any hair that's less substantial than mine as there's no way to clamp it down smaller.

Won't hold thin hair

These are listed as being for fine hair. Alas they are not. I have to wrap my hair around it in order for it to stay in my hair
