Derby Extra Double Edge Safety Razor Blades - Pack of 100 Blades

Before recently trying Derby blades, I was previously a loyal user of Feather blades. When I started using a safety razor 10 years ago I saw everyone online saying that Feathers were the best out there so I proceeded with them. I always got on pretty well with them although found them to be a bit too sharp and easy to cut yourself with. But in recent months I have found Feather blades have gone right downhill and every blade bar none in my last batch suffered from a defect where one side of the blade felt dull and almost painful to shave with. So I decided it was finally time for a change and tried Derby blades because I read a lot of good things about them.Wow, is all I can say. I wish I had used these from day one. They are sharp enough to provide a sublime shave but not to the extent where you end up with cuts when applying gentle pressure like I found with Feather blades. Both sides of the blades feel equally sharp and correctly manufactured. The cost of the blades is very reasonable. Overall Derby blades feel like the perfect blade and I won't be using anything else from now on.

I don't need to shave that regularly so this box will probably be passed down to my son haha. I use one blade a quarter. They are obviously sharp and it's not shown but they are individually wrapped in paper and fitted into little dispenser boxes and the blades slide out, so they can be slid back into the box when finished, increasing the safety aspect when recycling.

They work perfectly fine and are a great price. I’ve had more expensive blades and I can tell you that they vary. Sometimes a more expensive blade cuts well and sometimes not. Same with the cheaper ones.

As many folk are trying to 'save' something or other then going back to the age of grandad is a great start, no plastic disposable razors back then so using a safety DE razor is a no brainerUnfortunately these blades are in plastic boxes but it's a better option than disposable razors.These blades are a really high quality and I can get two or three shaves per blade, so this bulk buy should last me well into the afterlife.Definitely worth buying if you have a safety DE razor.The usual swift Amazon delivery, solid packaging and a happy delivery driver always helps.

Can't beat these blades for a classy close shave. Double edge so one side with one side finish with the second like 2 blades. Good for some DIY stuff too

I can state that they are effective or I would look like Father Christmas by now , so that is the main positive , 1 blade seems to last me about 5 days on average ( this will vary with the user ) You do have to work at them to get them out of all that plastic ! ( probably to keep children safe ) Remember somebody has to sign for them and you need a person over 18 in the household. Good value for the money. Many Thanks.

WARNING: Each pack of five razors comes in a hard plastic container, which is wrapped in cellophane!There is no need for this and it is a complete waste of plastic when competitors simply use a small cardboard box for each box of five, using no plastic at all! One of the biggest benefits of using a safety razor is the lack of plastic waste involved, this product completely negates that in a completely unnecessary way.
