I bought 2 Thames & Kosmos Science kits for a bright 8 year old nephew whose into Science; he was very excited to receive them. I never followed up to ask details about the quality and usage, but friends have said that Thames & Kosmos kits are the better ones of the choices out there.

I've selected this item for experiments. When I've got it, I revealed more options for exepriments that it was described on teh site. So, I was surprised! Very good and inetersting item. I'd recommend this item to pupils and teachers.

We love Thames & Kosmos kits to educate our son with alternative energy options.

It took the kids some time to assemble however the kit is fun with a lot of experiments the kids to enjoy. I would love to see a vortex turbine kit for kids

8+? I am 33yrs old working with an 8 and 10yr old and we can't figure out which holes things are supposed to go in on the second project. Pictures for assembly are not big and clear enough to know which hole pegs go in. Things are not lining up right. They are getting impatient I am getting frustrated. We need to stop because we are generating more energy than this kit ever will.

Bought this for my husband’s birthday. He absolutely loves it.

Bought for science project on energy- worked beautifully!

Used at science fair. Didn't last a whole day with kids touching it. Would recommend look but no touching next time.
