I bought a different one (the green one in the pictures) that was smaller and I kept getting scratched or pinched by the plastic ring so I ordered this one that was like twice as big. It is amazing. I've used it both hot and cold and it holds the temperature for a decent amount of time. I can use it on any sore muscle and it hurts so good. For $20 it is definitely worth buying.

I have trouble using this where I need on my shoulders and back (55yr woman). This size would work great on a back. I think a small size would be better for my shoulders. I have used it on my forearms with relief. It is naturally on the cold side. The heating option to this ball feels awesome on sore muscles. i have nuked water to boil and warmed it up, but the good strong heat doesn't last, so i must be doing something wrong with that method. I do regret buying one so big and difficult for my hand to work.

I bought this for my son for Father's Day. He works 12 hour shifts and I figured this would help him relax afterwards. He likes it. The only con is the ice build up after it comes out freezer - it prevents the ball from rolling smoothly. But once that's over, it's awesome.6/28/20 update - I purchased another one for my mother-in-law's birthday. I have a few people that have asked about them since I tell everyone about them. So I may be purchasing more.

I was thrilled to receive it. Used it on one person in pain, but will need more clients to try on. Very cool to the touch initially. A good substitute for ice. Requires very little pressure. Best when rolled slow.

This feels so good on my thighs and hamstrings and even on the back of my neck. I leave it in my car while at the gym since it’s been pretty cold outside. It feels nice on any area I worked that day. I also like to open it up and place the metal part on the floor. I then roll my foot back and forth on it.

Works great. I have bought previous rollers but they were smaller and pinched when trying to add any pressure. This thing fits in palm nicely. I put in my gym bag and it still cold about 3-4 hours later. I mean it was cold but still cold amazing!!! Easy to get to out and clean which is awesome. Would buy again.

I purchased this cold roller to help with some inflammation in my knee. It stays cold for a decent amount of time and the plastic base makes it comfortable to use without your hands getting too cold. The instructions say to place it in the refrigerator, I would like to freeze it to get it really cold but I am worried about the liquid/gel expanding causing it to burst. Anyone have any experience with this?

I love this massage ball. I don’t even freeze it or chill it because it stays naturally quite cold. I have a lot of back pain and my boyfriend isn’t the best at giving massages so all I have to do is ask him to roll my back and it feels amazing. I highly recommend this product! Even after workouts I use it on my legs to help with soreness and it helps so much. I read some issues with these massage rollers pinching skin, but I have never had an issue with this specific product.

Reçu très très très rapidement et j’adore. Ça me permet de me dénouer les noeuds que j’ai près des trapèzes! Très confortablement à tenir et je peux masser bien des endroits.Je recommande! Surtout que celle-ci, la peau ne coince pas quand tu roule.

Really good but a little big and it's really cold if you don't pre-heat it.

As soon as you hold it in your hand, it seems like a sturdy product, that isn't flimsy (something I read in reviews of similar rollers) and is actually quite well made.More to the point, it's good fun (can be really tingly on your legs if you're ticklish which is nice) and helps with soreness / stiffness pretty much anywhere reasonable that you try it.Of course, it's not some magic wand but it definitely helps.Haven't frozen it, so can't comment on how long the coldness lasts.If you put it in hot water for 2-3 minutes, then it'll easily last 15 - haven't tried keeping it heated for longer but there's a liquid inside of the ball that you can hear occasionally when rolling, so i'd imagine that keeping the ball in heated water for a longer time will keep the ball warm for a longer length of time.No complaints at all, but have never had a massage roller before, so I am leaving room for improvement, hence the 4-star rating.
