Had Ford dealer install it and after 3 days it started to fail. Diagnsotic by dealer shows TCM fault.

The TCM I received is clearly not new, as was advertised.A critical lug is broken off the upper connector base.That lug is necessary for the electrical connector to draw down and make a good connection of the terminals and to draw the gasket in for a watertight seal.Two critical lugs are also broken off the lower connector base. You can also see where someone did some filing or sanding on the plastic trying to make it less noticeable where the lugs are broken off.Again those lugs are necessary for the electrical connector to draw down and make a good connection of the terminals and keep them from vibrating loose and to draw the gasket in to keep moisture out of the terminals.The connector sockets have bent three-phase motor and communications pins.The communication pin (center-right) is bent so far over it is in the adjacent column and nearly in line with the upper row, nowhere close to making connection with the appropriate socket in the female side of the connector.Everything is painted over with a coat of silver paint, including the original manufacturer label.The box it came in looks like the same box the chinese knock-offs come in when you look at listings for those from other sellers.The tracking information shows the part shipped from Hong Kong.The body of the unit has numerous dents and gouges. It appears to have taken a beating from prying/hammering or perhaps was pulled from a scrap pile.All this is painted over, so the damage obviously occurred before the silver paint job.Update: The seller has messaged me 11 times asking me to delete my review in exchange for a refund.

Ford has this part nationally backordered in the US, and we had a customer waiting several months while their vehicle was undrivable so we tried our luck with this part on Amazon. Very glad to report that the TCM programmed perfectly and the customer is happy to be back on the road in their Ford Focus. The national backorder of this part is going to continue for quite some time, so I expect we'll be purchasing more of these in the future.

This TCM solved my 2013 Fiesta issue. Make sure you supply your VIN Number and Engine displacement when you order. Note! Take your time when installing TCM only 4 bolts and ensure that the splines insert easy into mating piece on car. My install did not require computer programming and learned when i drove it. Hope this helps!

The Transmission Control Module, TCM, arrived within 2 weeks after I ordered it.  I had my mechanic install it rather than the Ford dealership since it was supposed to have been programmed. It lasted less than 2 weeks. Transmission failure light came on while I was on an out of town trip, had to leave it at a Ford dealer, and rent a car to get back home. Dealership has just confirmed this TCM that I have purchased is the problem. Now, I have to pay for the REAL TCM and labor cost to install it again.  The inconvenience, cost, wait time, and that unknown feeling is just not worth purchasing this product.DO NOT PURCHASE this product.

I waited to write this review for a while but basically, this part is definitely refurbished. Good for a temporary fix, but whoever orders this will have to eventually get a new TCM from ford still. This TCM lasted in my car for about 4 months and then it quit working. Had to get a new TCM, but this time I did it from Ford. I honestly wouldn’t recommend buying this. If you get this installed, ford will not cover the part once you need it from them. Waste of money. But if you’re absolutely desperate, the risk is on you. In the end you’ll end up spending more money than what it’s worth.

This TCM for my Ford Focus was new and as advertised and was verified by the Ford dealership that installed it. With a 4 month wait on the same part from Ford, this TCM was an excellent alternative and was priced the same as those from Ford dealerships.

Although the part said it comes programmed my vehicle didn’t accept it and had to pay extra money to take it to the ford dealer to get the part reprogrammed. After driving it for a week now the new TCM finally looks like its accepted, car is running smoothly and check transmission light is not coming on anymore. Although pricey it’s definitely worth buying because ford has no idea when they will be getting this part in!!

Received in a timely manner. Been in my car for just over a week and has worked perfectly so far.

Do NOT buy. The TCM only worked for one month. When I contacted them for a refund or replacement they told me the Ford dealership was wrong and it wasn’t the TCM. Then after arguing with them they said I had to send it back TO CHINA at a cost of $200 shipping that I had to pay. STAY AWAY and do not buy.
