The Healthcare Quality Book: Vision, Strategy, and Tools, 2nd Edition 2nd Edition

This is a great book. It is a requirment for a class I am taking this semester and for once I am not going to resell it back! This book is easy to read and very informative. It has already served as a great resource for me at work. I definitely recommend.

This textbook was a very easy read and it truly outlines the ways to deliver quality healthcare to our patients. There are a few "academic" spots that are a little more challenging to follow but overall it was a smooth read.

bought this for a college class and will say that while the chapters can be a bit lengthy towards the end, overall this is a good book for studying and learning about assessing the quality of care being delivered in a healthcare setting.

This is a good book for introduction to healthcare quality. However, there are multiple spelling mistakes and grammar misuses in every chapter. If as stated on the cover page -- "Revised and Updated", whoever proof-read these chapters did not do a good job.

For most chapters it is okay to read- nothing exciting but nothing recent- I think 2007 or 2008 are the 'latest' information in the book- but then it is a second edition. But it covers 'recent' quality management decently enough.The questions at the end of the chapter are okay to do but it is difficult often times to figure out what exactly they are asking for as the words don't quite match up to the words used in the chapter so half of it is guesswork.

I purchased this book for a class. It is a good overview of the history, terminology, and tools of healthcare quality. It is quite readable. It doesn't go into much depth about most of the topics.

Good reference.

Easy to read with examples. Up to date and realistic. Book was clean and new. Good quality book. For school
