Effective and Easy to Use
I'm pretty happy with these. I used them to straighten some coiled NiCopp brake lines and it definitely made the line a lot straighter. To get them perfectly straight though I think you're going to need a different, and from what I've seen, far more expensive tool. So as far as value goes these definitely strike a good balance.I can't say much for the bending capability of them though. Based on the design of the tool it didn't seem like it was going to be capable of tight bends, but I didn't need this capability much since the NiCopp line bends perfectly well by hand. Could I have straightened the NiCopp by hand? Probably, but I felt these did a cleaner job.For the home mechanic, I would recommend these.

Basic and worth every penny
Very basic easy to use tool for forming and bending brake and fuel lines. Does a good job even in bends to 90°, no worries on kinking the tubing. Saves a lot of time and cash, especially if you need to make custom lines.

Useful but not great
This is a useful tool and for the money I am glad I had it when I did my brake lines. It is made for 1/4" line but I was using 3/16" so that might be the difference. It takes big bends out of coiled lines but it does not get them perfectly straight for me. I still think it is worthwhile but does not replace the higher end roller systems, which is admittedly what I wish I had bought instead.

Ability to straighten tubing
I found the tool to straighten tubing very will but will not completely straighten tubing that has several sharpe bends in it. I had tubing that had three 90 deg bends within 2 - 3” of each other, it straighten them ok but not back to completely straight. Other bends I had that where lumpy it straighten and back to it’s original straight shape. I found the tool nice to have

worked great!
It's kinda big if you have to get in a tight area you may have to resize it but it did work on my stainless brake lines to get them straight after I bent them wrong.

For the price, this is underwhelming...but functional...and cheaper than other versions
Overpriced, short, 2 piece flat bar with a linear cut-out groove and a pliers-type handle. Did the grooves on both sides of the flat bar line up...not so much (don't expect world-class quality control here). Luckily the slot alignment on the one i received was 'close enough' and served the purpose intended (generally straightening the 3/16" brake line that had a wide arc'd shipping bend that needed to be aligned to get installed). Again, if you are a perfectionist looking for professional grade/high-end look, this is not the tool for you and will not give you the results you want. It is a working man's tubing straightener and does what it has to. As a 'tubing bender, i'd only tackle that very carefully and under very limited situations as it's a flat bar with sharp corners. For wrench/break/repeat off-road & 4X4 types, it's a keeper for the trail bag.For as simple as the design is, it still seems way overpriced. This has the look and feel of a HF $9.99 tool that should go on sale for even less...but yet, it's $40. That said, it is one of the cheapest on the market with the other versions (rollers and sleeves) being pathetically/ludicrously overpriced ($100's of dollars range).

Versatile -- gets into small places....
I was going to give this 3 stars after my first use, but the more I played with it the more I liked it. It was ESPECIALLY nice to be able to apply it to brake lines already mounted on the car. Heavy duty tool should last forever....
